Get ready for the Party liners to start the bogus explanations of how it is the fault of the democrats.
...and there is an Easter Bunny and Saddam had massive stockpiles of nuclear weapons, many loaded on rockets capable of sticking the continental U.S and sitting at the ready.

Hell, man, that's a real improvement over last year.
An honest question bdgee. If that 8 billion were to come home? What good would it do? Not what good COULD it do but what what good WOULD it do? Under the current administration, my guess is very little if anything at all.

An honest answer: As you say, "Under the current administration" it will amount to very little, except funding to pay off some more corporations for their political "donations".

Can't undo the mess in Iraq or the destruction to the economy via the latest failure of Reagonomics (i.e., via Stockman type lies and bs), or the outright "gifts" to corporations to promote corporatism and alter our form of government, just to mention a few of the problems of the violent and aggressive cancer that is destroying our society.
Dubya, backed totally by the republicans, even now, has been the biggest disaster ever for our republic, politically, philosophically, and economically. We are seeing only the beginnings of the devouring of our values and our abilities to confront the evil that abounds. Recovery, if possible, will take at least years, probably decades. Massive surgery is the best approach as an attempt at a cure. Still, it is too late to expect a full or easy recovery.

It'll be interesting to see how the delegate race continues with Clinton and Obama.
They say a good chunk of Clinton's lead is composed of super-delegates (senators and congressmen) who are able to change their mind up to the convention.
Could be some crazy times in Denver this summer.

McCain: Abramoff 'way too influential' in Washington Email Share
September 29, 2006 12:37 PM
ABC's Teddy Davis reports: When asked by ABC News today whether the new Abramoff report calls into question the veracity of earlier White House efforts to downplay the number of contacts with lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said that he has not had a chance to see the the House Government Reform Committee’s report while adding: "I believe that Mr. Abramoff's influence with both the Congress and the White House was inappropriate, and I've said that many times."
"It's very clear," said Sen. McCain, "that Mr. Abramoff and his lieutenants were way too influential here in Washington."
Sen. McCain's Indian Affairs Committee was instrumental in the Abramoff investigation.

Obama has won every Caucus held even Nevada...
they newspeople and Hillary somehow managed to say Hilary won it on the news, but if you look at the delegate numbers? Obama won Nevada..
i am very concerned that every time you have a voice vote? Obama wins, but Hillary wins at secret ballots.
something smells bad in that...
i want to do some searches to see if there is some underlying pattern like touchscreen machines...
i have heard that several states hired security experts to test the machines and discovered that it is so simple to "tweak" them that they are totally useless...
i want to vote with a sharpie.
