Thought this would be interesting. What do regret doing or not doing?
I played baseball for 12 years and regret not playing college baseball.

I won't speak in detail of baseball and things baseball, but of all my mistakes, probably the biggest was quitting playing when I was 18.
Other than that, I regret several thousand things.
Once, a student asked me "If you had it all to do over, what things that you did would you change in your life?"
I told him, of those mistakes, I probably would do them all twice, given the chance, since I made what I thought was the best decision at the time.....and anyway, most of them were fun.

I once had a chance to stand up and take something that I wanted very much. Instead I leaned back and expected that something to come to me.
It didn't and that chance never presented itself again.

Well, Tex, there is a saying......A piece you passed up is one you'll never get.
Of course there never was a Gus McCrae to have said that, but had there been, I bet he'd have been the first.

Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention. Sounds like a Sinatra song. I regret burning half of our downstairs carpeting a few years ago cause I didn't listen to my wife. I regret betting with Tex on the Packer/Cowboy game a few weeks ago. That's about all that comes to mind. No, wait, I also regret betting with a guy from Tennessee on the Wisconsin/Tennessee bowl game last week. I'd have won some Gentlemen Jack but instead I lost a cheese hat. I guess I feel more sorry for him than me so maybe that's not a regret?
