We need to remember that Bush is only in power by the manipulations and favor of The Party and is but the most recent of their "leaders".

I think both Bush/Hitler as most politicians and/or dictators learned some of their lessons from Machiavelli's The Prince...

Actually, I think they are congenital selfish ego maniacs....born unable to disavow evil. From Machiavelli they can learn to believe it is acceptable and maybe learn some details and techniques.

On second thought, the notion that Bush learned anything from Hitler is absurd.

First, Bush ain't even afloat at Hitler's intellectual level, low as that might be.

Second, Bush is doing exactly the same things that led to doom for Adolph and his earlier collection of fascist.

Learn smern.

Dubya ran on a platform of changing our "nation-building" policy that Clinton had developed.

he changed it alright. he ratcheted it up a couple notches.

"Let me tell you what else I'm worried about: I'm worried about an opponent who uses nation building and the military in the same sentence. See, our view of the military is for our military to be properly prepared to fight and win war and, therefore, prevent war from happening in the first place."

George W. Bush speaking to a cheering crowd in Chattanooga, Tenn., one day before the Nov. 7, 2000 election. And the song remains the same.
