I've heard too much garbage from the far right claiming Libby wasn't involved in outing Plame and it turns my stomach. He was not convicted of that. He was convicted of criminally misleading a federal criminal investigation and criminally lying to a grand jury. He covered up the crime with lies.

Plame was a covert agent of the CIA, according to the CIA, which asked for the investigation on that basis; the Justice department agreed that Plame was a covert agent in order to take the case on; there was a crime, as Plames identity and photos were leaked out of the Administraation along with the information that she was a covert agent of the CIA; and even dubya admits the covert CIA agent Plame was outed by someone in his administration:

"Bush acknowledged publicly for the first time that someone in his administration leaked her name to the news media."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070712/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/bush_12

So stop the misleading and dishonest propaganda.

You are ranting out of ignorance and bigotry. You are among those that declared anyone not goose steppin g to the cadence of King george to be un-American and unpatriotic. You are a far rightwing and party first rather than uninterested.

And you wouldn't know a demmocrate if you were among a collection of nothing but them and you.

You were then and are now entirely wrong about these fascist you so enthusiastically support with out reason. Are you really too bigoted to even acknowledge they are liars and crooks?

I found some more labels we can pin on NR....

LOL (kidden)

Centrist – Just what it sounds like. Someone who doesn’t have any particularly strong ideological leanings in any direction.

Conservative – Specifically a "fusionist" conservative of the National Review - Heritage Foundation mold. Someone who believes in traditional morality and capitalism, and the need for a limited government to allow both to flourish.

Left-libertarian – The quiz uses a mild definition of a left-libertarian, an anti-statist who is somewhat fearful of corporate and religious influence on public life.

Liberal – Supports economic regulation to promote social justice and takes a progressive stance toward moral or cultural issues.

Libertarian – A libertarian opposes most or all government activites. Does not favor much or any government support for either moral or economic systems.

Neoconservative – A "neocon" is more inclined than other conservatives toward vigorous government in the service of the goals of traditional morality and pro-business policies. Tends to favor a very strong foreign policy of America as well.

Paleoconservative – "Paleocons" want less US involvement in foeign affairs than other conservatives and oppose mass immigration. They are also more favorably disposed toward the South and the idea of secession, or at least decentralization, than neoconservatives.

Paleo-libertarian – Similar to other libertarians except for oppostion to mass immigration, and shares the paleocon appreciation of the South.

Radical – Critical of bouregois morality and strongly opposed to capitalism and willing to use state power to achieve desired ends.

Third-way – More supportive of foreign intervention than liberals and less supportive of economic regulation, coupled with more-or-less progressive social views. "Third-way" is to liberal what neoconservative is to conservative.

Note that is "and" not "or", Rim....inclusive, not disjunctive, i.e., all three ingredients are required, not just the third.

I've felt the effects of every administration. I'm still waiting for some party to field a candidate who will actually do something positive for the lower middle class. Hmmm, maybe to commumnist party. Aren't they for the working class.

Haven't you realized that the present republican concentration in immigration is to keep you from noticing they not only have no plans to help anyone not already wealthy, they are working to make you pay for the benefits to the wealthy. (If they could build that stupid fence, just who would reap the benefits and profits of the contracts?) (Who is getting rich selling war materials for Iraq?)

It's always a side show to keep you from seeing what they are actually doing and planning.

When the public finally tires of the cuss-fight about immigration, they will develop a new side issue that has no solution and tell the public some simple minded but impossible solution of their design is the answer.

Thus, a new cycle of BS....

And on and on and on........

At the rate we're going you wont be able to use the Middle-class word anymore. Its just gonna be Filthy Rich and Dirt Poor.

The price of ummmm EVERYTHING has gone through the roof and wages havent budged. Hence the corporate big dogs raking it in while the avg consumer has to figure out a way to stretch his buck.

How many small businesses you know of that are still up and running and didnt go under to some conglomerate?

Republicans or conservatives are referred to as "the right" such as myself, naturalresources, or anyone else here that doesn't agree with bdgee.

Democrats or liberals are referred to as "the left" such as bdgee

I haven't referred to anyone as "the left" or as "the right". I speak to the idiocy of the far rightwing's eagerness to turn the U.S. into a fascism, but I have left to whomever chooses that designation to include themselves within that designation. The designations you hear from retiredbeforematured are his own inventions, to suit his own 19th century agenda, or to codify things to the simple.

I don't know what "right" or "left" or "conservative" or "liberal" or whatever other political designations should refer to. I do know that communism isn't necessarilly left or liberal, that socialism is not communism, that there is no part of either the Decloration of Independence or the Constitution that presupposes capitalism, that conservative generally includes unlimited tolerance for human rights violations (even slavery) in too many places.

I personally am a pickup driving gun owning (red neck) American that believes almost religiously in the Constitution.

If you listen to the right wing talk shows as they bend historical fact and throw out lie after lie.
One would think Plame was never real a cia operative and Libby was the good American that tried to protect the country. Hannity and limbaugh are two of the worst.

Why would anybody believe a couple of draft dodgers like them.

Like the Fascist always say a lie if repeated over and over with a slight element of truth will become come truth in the long run.
