The Munchkin Man is pleased to announce that he has finally endorsed a Republican candidate for our next President of the United States.
That candidate is the former United States Senator from Tennessee, Fred Thompson.
Of all of the Republican candidates running or thinking of running, the Munchkin Man believes he has the most charisma and star quality to win.
Here are some more things the Munchkin Man likes about Fred Thompson:
***He is tough on national defense.
***He will be tough on the terrorists.
***He favors a tough illegal immigration policy.
***He is pro life.
***He is against gay marriage.
***He supports family values.
***He helped John Roberts become confirmed as our new U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
***He is a true American conservative in the mold of the late great Ronald Reagan.
***He has a "father figure" image.
***He defends President Bush.
***He doesn't take any crap from anybody. For proof of this, just watch some of his movies.
***The Munchkin Man will sleep better at night knowing that Fred Thompson is in charge of our country and protecting us from our enemies, both foreign and domestic.
What is there for the Munchkin Man not to like?
What is there for YOU not to like?
Let's all band together and encourage Fred Thompson to officially announce his candidacy for our next President of the United States.
God Bless America.
God Bless Fred Thomspon.

Looks like a pretty good candidate IMO. We definately need someone strong on national defense. Someone who will be aggressive with illegal immigration is a huge plus too. Lastly, I want someone who will stick up for himself against the liberals of this country and NOT try to pander to them. Good day.

Could you elaborate on "supports family values?" Does this mean he is will actively engage in getting healthcare for all children? Will he seek ways to make day care more affordable? Maybe it means that he is in favor of leaving a cleaner environment for my children and grandchilden. Or does it mean he hates gays and is anti abortion?

Also, you say he defends Bush and is pro life at the same time. Since when does defending someone who distorts information to justify a war make you pro life? Also, supporting torture is not very pro life either! Sounds like he may be confused on some of the issues. I think we can do better as a nation.

And I, along with better than half of the people of the U.S. and an overwlelming voice from around the world, think WE MUST do better than what the far rightwing republicans have done, in order to have any chance of not being swamped in the negative feelings of most of the rest o the world. (What became of the gentlemen republican statesmen of my youth that championed and adored the Country more than the Party? Hushed in a hateful cacophony of insults and name calling, maybe?)
The body of the nations of the world is making it clear, they do not intend to put up with this arrogance and irresponsible aggression much longer, particularly when it is all based on lies..

After the total devastation Bush has brought to his party, (and the World) The Republicans don't have a prayer of holding onto the Presidency in '08.
Sorry GOP, you elected one too many losers.

I knew it wouldn't be long before GB got in his 2 cents on this. As long as its not Hillary, I'll sleep easier at night.

I appreciate the proomise, but I'm not ready to pick a candidate, democratic or republican, so she is in the mix. She'll appreciate the nudge your support gives her, MM.
