TEHRAN (AFP) - US warplanes have violated Iranian airspace in the southwestern oil province of Khuzestan, the Arabic language channel of Iranian state television quoted a local military chief as saying on Sunday.
However, a US military spokesman said he had checked into reports of an airspace violation and denied that any took place.
"Two US aircraft trespassed into Iranian airspace northwest of (the port city of) Abadan before flying southwest into Iraq," a Revolutionary Guards commander in Abadan identified only as Colonel Aqili was quoted as saying by the Al-Alam channel's website.
"The planes left white vapour trails, attracting the local people's attention," he said, without elaborating on when the alleged incursion took place.

NR, The only connection between Iraq and Osama is the propaganda that was fed to us via various sources.
I think the point bdgee was trying to make was:(and im sure he'll correct me if im wrong) A big part of Osama's plan was.....our response. He was litarally banking on overkill and got paid bigtime......
Immdeatley following 9/11 we had the world morning by our side. Including most muslims countries denouncing the act as monstrous. We were overwhelmingly supported on going into Afghanistan......then it appears old scores were gonna get settled

There never was an "Iraq/Osama connection" before the invasion, although you insisted, loudly and repeatedly, that there was and weren't exactly gentlemanly toward those that questiond the claim that there was..
When corrected, you lashed out by calling those people cummunist and un-American and worse. A rude habit yuo continue to this day, in spite of dubya's own hand picked and excessively funded team of Saddam's evil acts and WMD hunters repoirts that all that propaganda was false.
These are the exact same governments (the U.S. and Great Britton" whose wholesale lies you bought hook line and sinker about Iraq. They lied to you and to me about Iraq then and have continued to do so since. Why would the worry with truth now?
Are you really so simple minded (in your RNC worship) that you think there is a right and a wrong side in this? Neither side is exactly clean and pure and taking sides in no way unearth's or even sheds light on the truth.

I'll take that question highway on how to fight terrorism.
First: I think we would have to up up a line of communications with ALL countries and dictators. Whats wrong with listening to what a crazy guy has to say? Doesnt mean you have to agree with him or be his friend.
Second: I think the womens Lib movement has to get on the ball in these countries...maybe via CIA or through economic trade incentives.
third: I would have a couple o thousand sorties flown by our B 2's......carpet bombing all of the middle east with porn!!
Actually if you just go with the third.....the first two shouldnt be much of a problem

Yep, you are right, but ya have ta 'spect it'll be that way.
Everything will be fine, provided you don't expect everyone else to have the same list as you, "1. God 2.Family 3. Friends 4.Work." This is, after all, the United States of America, where such an expectation is not favored and cannot be nurtured by any action or inaction of the Nation or any of its various subdivisions or units.
