I just wanted to take a moment and ask for your thoughts and prayers for the people in and around Enterprise, Alabama. I know that certain parts of the country deal with this kind of thing all the time, and while we are certainly used to hurricanes, tornados are not that common.
While I can't say I knew specific people at the high school, there are some very special people that work at the Board of Education right next door. The BOE and the schools are all customers of my company...we were all trying everything to get in touch with friends and make sure they survived. At least with hurricanes and ice storms, you have some warning...
Anyway, there were lots of young lives cut short today...makes me grateful to sit here at my computer.

last weekend it was Dasha (pronounced dashay) Co Arkansas... DUMAS, Ark. (AP) -- Roughly 800 workers in one Arkansas town have no jobs to report to today, because of a tornado that hit over the weekend.
The tornado hit Dumas, Arkansas, Saturday with winds estimated at more than 200 miles-an-hour. More than 2,000 people are still without power today and two young children injured by the tornado are still in critical condition. http://www.news10.net/display_story.aspx?storyid=24846

Yeah - this one was just awful...We talked to people at the board today (who were connected to the H.S. at Enterprise) and they said the tornado hit the school head on, was about 100 yards wide and the strength of an F3 or F4...
...Katrina without the warning
