this resonates with me...

Dashiell Hammett wrote The Maltese Falcon, which starred Bogey in the movie. At one point, one of da bad guys quips to our hero something like, "Ya, you're so smooth--you got an answer for everything."

He replies:

In the original Rocky movie, they had an interviewer holding a a microphone in his face ask Balboa, with a straight face, while he was practicing in the meat locker jabbing sides of beef, "How long have you been beating meat?"
