The Munchkin Man has been jumping up and down on his bed with joy all day long over this movement.
This is exactly what our kids need. To learn how to fear the Lord, love the Lord, and learn Biblical moral values instead of being taught by secular teachers to hate President George W. Bush and how to wrap condoms over cucumbers.
Any movement which teaches our children to dedicate their lives to opposing abortion and how to praise President George W. Bush better has the Munchkin Man's full support.
These children have given the Munchkin Man great comfort that the future of our nation will be in good hands after all.

The right wing fundamentalist evangelical movement operates the Republican party. So tell me how this is any different than the Churh of England running the British government in the 15th and 16th centuries?
George Bush is the last person a true Christian should be modeling their life after. I think a better life model would be some dude called Jesus...

The clip with the kid speaking in tounges disturbed me. That's something you see common in churches and movents like this.
It's not biblical.
When the deciples had the gift in tounges, what it meant when the were preaching GOD'S WORD in their natural language to big crowds who spoke different languages, the crowd understood them any way, even though it wasn't their language. It wasn't some secrect language or strange sounding mumbo jumbo. God has a purpose for his gifts. Usually always to spread his word.
And teaching to value life is one thing, but little kids talking about abortion isn't something I think Jesus would have taught. Kids that young don't fully understand about sex and the process of makeing baby's.

Munchkin, there are some really scarey things those videos. They are doing some things great. There are some things that are totally nuts. I see a lot of scarring coming in the near future. Jesus is the answer, but I don't think He is honored by Jesus Camp.

A thing that struck me from the first link Munchin posted was the women drawing an analogy between radical islam and jesus camp (when she mentions religion in Pakistan etc..)..
To me that is really scary - are we really trying to start a religious war? It plain is scary when I hear people say that we should kill all muslims.. kill all terrorists... how does one expect to kill every single one? If that is your goal - then you have set an impossible genocidal task - no better and exactly analgous to the goals of the 3rd Reich.
Isn't there supposed to be tolerance in x-tianity? "love thine neighbor" "love your enemy" Isn't religion and jesus supposed to be about love and humans coming together as humans, seeing each other as fellow humans, not as people on the other side of the liberal/conservative, muslim/christain, and racial divides.
Jesus camp - and crap like that, are the reason I became an athiest, at a young age I said "that's BS", it's manipulative crap - "opiate of the masses".
We live in a democracy here in the USA, not a theocracy, we are supposed to debate and through that we are supposed to become more intelligent and considerate. Religious dogma is fanning the flames and increasing the divide and stifles debate. Religion and the state were seperated on purpose by the people who made this country for the exact reason as they are mutually incompatible and mutually corrupting. To protect religion from the state, and the state from religion, they must be seperate!
By the way - what the hell gives you the right to say what I can do that does not affect or harm you in any way?
What was it that someone said about a house divided?
A final thought, if a child will believe in Santa Claus, the easter bunny, the boogie man, monsters in the closest and under the bed, would it be that hard to make them believe in God, then when they get older perpetuate that belief and have nobody finally tell them, you know what, god isn't real - we just made it up to make you feel better.
