See, free nations do not develop weapons of mass destruction."

last night? on Hannity and Colmes? they had some lady come in for Colmes..

she b!tch-slapped Anne Coulter so well that Anne had a hissy fit [Razz]

After A Few Tough Questions, Ann Coulter Walks Off Hannity & Colmes
Reported by Ellen - August 25, 2006 - 105 comments

Ann Coulter, who specializes in vitriol toward others, was so flustered by a few tough questions on Hannity & Colmes last night (8/24/06), that she left the interview.

Kirsten Powers, substituting for Alan Colmes, pressed Coulter over remarks she made during the first of a two-part discussion on the effect of the war in Iraq in the upcoming elections. During that segment, Coulter let forth a stream of her trademark invective: “(Democrats) consider it unfair to talk about national security… What part of the war on terrorism do they support?... (Terrorists) would be much happier with the policies of the Democrats.” That part of the discussion is available on FOX News’ website.
After the break, Powers confronted Coulter on those accusations, starting with questions about why the Bush Administration hasn’t caught Osama bin Laden. Coulter was obviously flummoxed and gave the ridiculous answer that the war in Afghanistan is going so swimmingly that bin Laden has become irrelevant. From Coulter’s point of view, it went downhill from there. Powers, whom I have criticized in the past for her ineptitude as a pundit, was in top form and refused to let Coulter off the hook. Powers continued pressing her case and Coulter soon crumbled. The woman who loves to dish it out, couldn’t take the heat. It’s worth noting that Powers never resorted to anything like the sort of diatribe Coulter doesn’t leave home without. Nevertheless, Coulter couldn’t finish the interview

you can see some of it right here:

Anne Coulter is simply an actor. She has hundreds of carefully scripted lines memorized. When she uses all her lines and is forced to deviate from the script, she is worthless and empty, and completely mindless.

CORRECTION: She is worthless and empty, and completely mindless. When she uses all her lines and is forced to deviate from the script, she is speachless.

That interview rocks! Thanks for linking it up. I loved it.

"Bin Laden is irrelevent."
...That's the position of the republican pundits???

If he is irrelivant then why the hell are liquids banned on planes? Why is the administration fighting to allow their illegal wiretapping program? Why the hell are we still so concerned about our security measures?

Oh...right! It's to protect us from all the enemies we have created in the last 5 years by attacking "terrorism"...going after a regime that had little to nothing to do with 9/11... and becoming to the global community the picturechild for oppression and aggression against those who don't think "right" like us.

For a second there I almost forgot the irrationality of today's political climate. Must'a been the chinese leftovers I had for lunch.
