helos ain't chit...

back in da late 70s-early 80s, black, unmarked jet aircraft were causing so many sonic booms during testing runs over Far West Texas (out of N. Mexico) that locals finally got it stopped because the aircraft were damaging structures...including small water-holding sinks for livestock...

lol... true

"Aircraft..... I think not Tex."

lol, duke...

"think" all you want...doesn't repair the damage those aircraft inflicted...

in case you've forgotten? no, I won't reveal my reveal my real name, for obvious reasons--but when I re-tell these types of stories? were published in award-winning college papers, AP,
or major dailies...including The Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram

NEVER ever was my publisher put in a position to retract, clarify, dismiss or otherwise *clarify* my reports...

You should be very proud of your accomplishments Tex. Sounds like you have had one hell of a career.
The UFO stuff was said tongue in cheek.

don't know the "lingo"

saw the results, though

"eyewitnesses" described 'em screaming down through canyons, US-side...then turning 90-degrees skyward at the river, then returning "home" without causing sonic booms...

iow? they raced to the border, then returned to "base" leisurely...

not scramjets then...

scramjets have to be at or above supersonic all the time to maintain high pressure air at the intake...

spooky stuff huh?
