may go look for one in nice condition to put away now... guns never go down in value.... they aren't making much profit as "investments" these days, but the time to make an investment is before everybody else does, right?

Spent the last year selling over a dozen of my pre-ban semiautos on gunbroker.com for my move to Hawaii,a very gun-unfriendly state.Supposedly can't even bring in any over 10 round clips but what they don't know ain't their business. Made a nice penny on all my mint pre-bans I sold though. Before Clinton's "assault" weapon and high-capacity magazine ban I had stocked up on dozens of them, and sold some after the ban for 4-5 times what I paid. Just have 1 stainless .380 Walther PPK,1 stainless 9mm Beretta 92FS,1 Beretta 9mm Bruniton Beretta 92FS,and 1 stainless .223 Ruger Mini-14-all brand new and pre-ban and never fired once.Never had a shotgun and only one revolver in my lifetime,my first gun an H&R 9-shot .22 which I have fond memories plinking with while camping.

Well, my 12 gauge side by side and 30-06 bolt action are keeping the name Winchester..
Geezz!
The Mossberg's I own, can't even come close to the feel my Winchesters have..
The side by side has ruined the day of many a Canadian Honker!!
Love the smell of freshly exploded, or should I say rapidily burned gunpowder..A big Fat Canadian Goose laying in the back of the pickup is a pretty sight as well..Specialy on a cold clear winter morning.......Where I used to hunt, only cows in the field, no people!!!!!

I had a Winchester side by side once that was just about as good as junk. Never owned a Model 21, but a wonder feeling gun....ain't a Parker or a Smith, but a beautiful firearm.

I carry with me at all times a Kel-Tec (made in Cocoa, Fl, USA) P3AT lightest .380 caliber ever made. I love my P-95 Ruger 9mm. Very durable and easy for cleaning. Almost to heavy to conceal but can be done. I keep my Remington Model 1100 12ga 5-shot semi-autoloader real close by my bed. I am getting Bushmaster AR-15 shooting .223 (5.56 mm) caliber next few months.
That sad to hear they dc'd the Model 94.

Bdgee, guess what! just looked at my side by side...I forgot a little sumpin! It is an L.C Smith!! L.C Smith is stamped on both sides of the metal on the stock!! Thought something was srewy when I posted it, geezz,,, is that bad luck to insult a fellars own shotgun??!!
The 30-06 is the Winchester!
I also have an old Savage 410 over and under.
My Mossberg 12 gauge pump, to me, is a kinda cheap in the workmanship department, but has a reasonably fast action..Call it my riot weapon.
Have an old Army issue 45 that thing has stopping power. But it walked, don't know if it was stolen or what, can't find it...Wierd

All of my side by sides "disappeared" a few years back. Those included my very favorite goose gun, a 12 guage 30 inch barreled L.C. Smith, choked modified and full and my favorite upland gun, a 20 guage Fox, with 26 inch barrels choked improved and modified (and another Fox, a 16 guage L.C Smith, with silver inlayed etchings on the reciever and locks, an old piece of junk from Winchgester, a 20 guage parker that needed some repair on one of the firing pins, a one or two others....whoever took them knew what was valuable, except for that Winchester). I'm left only with one twice barreled gun, a (skeet 1)/(skeet2) choked Remington Model 3200 12 guage that was in a different location.
