There's nothing for me to watch on weekends now since this year's NASCAR season is over until February 2006 with #20, Tony Stewart winning the NEXTEL Cup. I'm not a Tony Stewart fan but congradulations to him. Enough said about Tony Stewart.
This year, two of my favorite drivers in the NEXTEL Cup series have retired. Rusty Wallace and Ricky Rudd. Good luck to both of them!
My current all time favorite driver is #6, Mr. VIAGRA himself, Mark Martin has decided to run one more full time season in 2006! With that great news, he will hopefully and finally win the NEXTEL Cup Championship in 2006. Go Mark Martin!!!
Other favorite drivers, past and present are Bill Elliott, Harry Gant, Kenny Schrader, Davey Allison, Dale Jarrett, Ward Burton, Darrell Waltrip, Michael Waltrip, Sterling Marlin, Terry Labonte, Bobby Labonte, Joe Nemechek, Richard Petty, Kyle Petty, and of course, Morgan Shepherd (Victory in Jesus Racing).
Notice above, I'm not a fan of newer, younger drivers, the so called "Young Guns" and the rest of them who think they own the tracks of NASCAR, at least not yet and I sure as hell am not a fan of the Earnhardts!
