Glassman, I dont fly anymore because of that. Just became too much of a hassel. Ever try to travel with large sums of $$$$. Dont do it now! Before 911 I could travel with 50,000 and have no problems, now anything over 9,999 I have to prove where it came from and fill out a CTR (cash transation report). Because only someone involved in illegal activities, would carry large sums of cash grrrrrrrrrrr. Sorry Ill shut up now, (was about to start ranting). Anyways I personaly despise the fact that so many now, have total acess, to veiw personal belongings. And hassel you over it. Every time I DRIVE to LV and have to spend 24 hrs driving instead of a few hrs in a plane, I get pissed.

better take a a good look around you RIGHT NOW...by the time "The Sheep Look Up"? we won't look like America anymore....
my kids were being taught in public high school in "conservative" Nebraska that the right to bear arms was only meant to be a state militia right, not a personal right... it was difficult to restrain myself not to go into school and tell the Football Coach (those words are always capitalized in NE) who was pretending to be a history teacher that he was full of chit...
everywhere you turn? people are begging to have their rights taken away...it's disgusting...

Could not agree more!!!!!!!!! I despise the fact that every time some idiot does something unthinkable, they make a law against it, that is realy vauge. Leading to less freedom for others, that had nothing to do with the reason the new law was made.

the fostering of idoicy such as refusing to recognize (I did not say accept...that would imply a political effort) global warming.....
teaching kids that the "Founding Fathers" were religious and christain (not so or even close) and therefore ours is a christain country....
a grossly fat guy mowing his lawn with no shirt......
claiming that evolution is "just a theory" and "creationism" is a science....
driving through a quiet neighborhood at midnight rattling houses with a mega-amplifier.....
Those are disgusting. What the acceptance of the herding of Americans is (and the insistance that it is good or acceptable or necessary) is scary as hell. And I might add, absolutely un-american.

I have one child(who agrees with me) enrolling in pre-law. And can actualy help to make a differnce. Me, I understand that our freedoms are being taken away frequently, and the sad thing is, all I can do is vote for the lesser of two evils. And in some games I play in, that have judges, lawyers, and lobyist, I just BITCH BITCH BITCH, and try to get my point across. Dont know if it ever helped, but it sure hasnt ever hurt. I have traveled ALOT! Been to many many places, and wouldnt live anywhere but America.

I ask because the most successful "society changers" for me have been projects I funded from my own pocket. Really, this is stuff I can see the difference, but I didn't wait on City Hall, or 501-k status from IRS. Like the Nike ad says, ungrammitcally, lol--JUST DO IT.
My message is, if you don't like it, change it...
