ok, well then earn it, with a smart pretty post-script... at least if you're gonna refer to that which nobody wants to think about right now, at least be funny about it... why not confess to having known all along & sold high? that would be hilarious... maybe even a "guys, i meant to say something but... all those thunder storms and..."

nope, i got cocky, and did break one of my OWN rules.. i never post prices,(and i sortof did this time) i only post when i think a stock is a good buy-in...
besides my biggest gripe with Bush has always been that he wouldn't admit that he made a mistake, and i think he did...so.....
(he probably doesn't but that's another story)
oh and i didn't sell, i took a paper loss only...it never went below my cost average and i think i'll get it back soon enough...

of course you didn't. that was *humor* i was suggesting. shheesh. you need to get out and do some skitchin or something...
----------------------------------------------- the postscript is wrong on all levels. bcs it implies that you are taking credit for what we do. bcs it strokes the bottom of the class.. that is, those of us who only do things cause g-man says to (and not bcs we know how to figure these things out for ourselves,) and.. and
look, i just don't like it. that oughta be enough.

you know, on Tues or Wed? in CA a 13 yr-old hit a 15 yr-old with a baseball bat and killed him... story goes the 15 yr-old razzed the 13 yr-old for poor pitching...the 15 yr-old was a spectator... this was in the middle of a crowd at the little league game...the father of the kid that died was standing right there...
think about it...
adults are not setting very good examples for the kids are they?
i say we as people are in trouble...

i was watching the game, big hub-ub here, but yankee definately threw punch, not cool. other guy not cool either, weird swing/slap, whatever it was.
my best guess was he tried to slap his cap up.
he never got hit, next time you see the replay his head never moves, if a 6month old pokes you in the nose your head snaps back, try it at home. Its a reaction/reflex, no way he was touched. he was definately pissed tho.
roid rage.

Bing that the guy that got swung at was Garry Sheffield i am very suprised the bosox fan still has teeth. He took a stand to defend himself when i fan reached onto the playing field and tried hit him. Im a met fan that hates teh yanks to death but i can see where he is coming from.

i don't think it matters who hit who... it was a nationally televised game, and to ignore it or even worse? say the player was RIGHT to go after the guy? just sends the message it's OK...
the fan definitely was looking at the BALL(not Sheffeild) when he swatted or wahtever..you can see that on the replays...

If a fan tried to hit him, defending himself is diving into the stands?
He overstepped his bounds. ROID RAGE!

Sheffield is hit by a fan and now some are saying they need to put a barrier (LIKE HOCKEY) between the fans and the playing field.
This thing cracks me up. Everyone is saying Sheffield deserves credit for not attacking the guy. It looked to me like it was UNINTENTOINAL contact. Poor Sheffield making MILLIONS gets tapped by a fan.
Some people say to take the guys season tickets. Just like the NBA incident the media seems to put the blame on the fans.
Most people can't afford to even go to PRO sports anymore. It seems to me everyone takes fans for granted.
THEY CHARGE $20 for the nosebleed section now. THEN IF YOU WANT TO EAT THEY CHARGE $3.50 FOR A HOT DOG AND $4 FOR A DRINK!! Then you have players who are making MILLIONS complaining about not getting paid enough.
Some players need to live here in the real world for a week.
Went to a REDS game last week and I spent $41. ($20 for the ticket, $11 for food, and $10 for parking)

Sheffield should have started swinging at every Red Sox loving man woman and child in the stands.
