Wasn't the majority of americans for the war when it started? Dont we have a responsibility to at least let the new government get a foothold before we pack up and leave since we started the whole mess to begin with ??

i think we do have a responsibility to get some form of govt esablished...
but?
it isn't gonna be what Bush promised US. and i still have some questions about WHY the insurgency has been allowed to flourish the way it has...
insurgencies do not develop and grow in a vacuum...it has much more support from the general populace than the white house is willing to admit....
there are severe cultural problems/differences/gaps that are being made worse, not better....

make love, not war.--get out of that shiit-hole and start taking care of our own. and another thing- stop that damn war on drugs. we're making war on our own people. how sick is that? and how about switching to bio-diesel fuel?

I say the US should flood the market with drugs made by them, and sold by them. They get the profits and can divert them to prevention programs. This is a STload of money and will help the prevention & treatment programs immensely.
This will also stop the flow of money over the border to mexico, columbia etc etc, this money fuels civil wars and kills thousands of people a year.

I dunno, I dont like to form concrete opinions about this whole thing, it's all a mess, I dont trust G Dub and crew. I dont know how the populace supports the insurgency when they seem to be the targets much of the time though.
Sounds like they're trying to create a civil war? I dunno screw it all. I'm moving to alaska.

Ruh916, talk about a mess, ya ever seen what a grizzly can do if ya become the un-divided target of it's attention!
I sure wouldn't want to be confused by a cross eyed Grizzly, as another Grizzly during mating season either!!!

I've defiantly meowed at a grizzley bear. he didn't look so big and bad... maybe cuz I was on a walkway overlooking him in his pen, poor little guy... he just needed a hug.
