if we begin forcing China to COMPLY with intellectual property laws, that would be a start...

I do believe that it will be paid off. Part of the key to success is promoting exportation of goods. The more our country remains in a position to profit from global trade the more our economy would grow. The question should be, will the economy grow fast enough to keep people from abandoning the dolar?

Well glass the blame there falls on all of our shoulders and me too. I try to by American but sometimes I just can't find it or afford it. I'm sure your products (art) are a lot better than what their buying at other places. All that other stuff from pier one will be is just stuff not art. It really puzzles me though that the people that complain the most will complain and then jump into their Suzuki or Honda or whatever. Makes one wonder about them.

agreed, and i am not bitter.... i do glass because it's a passion... i COULD work as a factory glass-worker..there are a few around..... but my wife IS a research scientist and her star is on the rise.... it is very rare for two poeple with such diverse interests to find a common ground where both can thrive.... oddly enough Washington State was on the top of our list for both of us...but it didn't work out out...and it would have meant living within 100 miles frrm Mt St Helens...so things do happen for a reason, and i am not too miserable about waiting a little while longer....my designs are still growing in my head, and i expect to have a new studio up and running before toooo long... i will still have to trade to make sure my retirement is secure...and guess what? i will be doing my glass until i can't stand up anymore....no lie...LOl

I'd like to see some of your work, Glass! I know I could never afford it, but I like to look at art! I've been getting strange emails too; I just never open them and delete them right away!
