CNSNews.com) - Looking at the U.S. Senate, Tuesday's election was "very good news" for those who support limited government and lower taxes, a taxpayer watchdog group announced on Wednesday.

Come January 2005, taxpayers will have new allies in the Senate on critical votes on appropriations bills, budget process reform, pending energy and transportation bills bloated with pork, Social Security reform, and tax relief, NTU President John Berthoud said in a press release.

NTU was able to draw those conclusions, because most of the incoming senators have previous service in the House of Representatives, allowing the fiscal records of outgoing senators to be compared with those of most new senators.

The highlights, according to the NTU:

-- Four of the nine outgoing senators have an "F" rating.

-- Of the six incoming senators who previously served in the House, the lowest grade earned was a "B-minus." (Only three of the nine outgoing senators achieved a "B-" or better in NTU's 2003 rating.)

-- In five of the six cases where both outgoing and incoming senators had been graded by NTU, the incoming senator had a better mark. (In the sixth case - Oklahoma - both the outgoing and incoming senator had an "A.")

Bottom line, said Berthoud - in no case does a new senator have a lower grade than an outgoing senator.

The NTU rates lawmakers based on every roll call vote affecting fiscal policy.

For example, in 2003, NTU included 287 House and 269 Senate votes, assigning a "Taxpayer Score" to each Member of Congress as a way of determining each lawmaker's commitment to reducing or controlling federal spending, taxes, debt, and regulation.

Well I tell you I read soldier of fortune magazine on a regular basis. They have a section where they talk about whats going on military wise around the world. I beleive it was the aug or sept of 2000 issue they had a section on Iraq which said that Saddam was building up an elite force in his army for a possible invasion of Isreal to aid the PLO. It also said to look for the U.S. To try and stop this at all cost. To me this all seems to fit together like a puzzle. They decided to sell this war on the threat of WMD because they knew people would not support millitary action against Iraq based on we think they might invade Isreal!! I don't beileve Bush knew if Saddam had WMD's or not but it seems we pulled the inspectors just in case there were none. They had to use the threat of WMD'S to go in and pray they found them so far they are out of luck but ofcourse Saddam will not be bothering Isreal now. All the time I have been a govt employee I still don't understand why we do so much to protect Isreal.

We protect Israel, because the President knows that according to scripture, God says he will go after anyone that harms Israel. Israel is the "Apple of God's Eye"

Israel has been our foot-print in the mid-east since just after WW2...we saw that we needed to have a presence there....

and it's all we've ABSOLUTELY needed...some think we STILL don't need more...
some disagree....

sama wants/wanted the Saudi Royal Crown, and we are the stoppers...

Iran WAS our ally....until the Shah fell,
then we went to Iraq, and we made him into our tool, it was under our guidance that he built up his army....
his invasion of Kuwiat wasn't toooo much of a surprise...the real surprise was that Saudi overreacted to Kuwaits invasion, and sama saw it as his opportunity to build an army in Saudi. of course the Saudi Crown couldn't risk that....he wasn't the Chosen...
We trained sama in Afghanistan, HE HELPED Reagan win the cold war.....

you aren't going to like this, but sam is/was BUSH'S enemy more than America's enemy...
the plane that hit the pentagon, it had been headed to the captiol or the White House, and turned away to it's SECONDARY target. That's why sama's latest message SPECIFICALLY mentioned what Bush was doing when the planes hit...he wasn't watching moore..he was watching the NEWS..it was a maessage. NO LOL
Bush was absent on the day they hit...

Bush sent Robert Jordan to Saudi right after 911 and they sent him packing cuz he started plotting to "help pick" the next crown prince too...
feints within feints....
i wanted a president MORE PLIABLE to the PRFESSIONALS in DC that have been there for years....
they are the ones that have been doing this all their lives...
Kerry would have been easier to manipulate...
so you can see, i'm no liberal...and i'm no moore fan either..

Well Kate you are right the bible does mention Isreal being protected by god and the jews being gods chosen people Im no expert but was that in the old testament? I mean the jews did not take his son as the savior did that change things?
Glassman hasn't Bush surronded himself with longtime Washington insiders like Cheney and Rumsfeld?? You know I was looking for info on the Isreal U.S. Connection and found one of those white power nazi web sites and it blew me away they actually supported Kerry and hated Bush. They say that Bush is Isreal's puppet I dont know I just don't get it

God also said that his own people wouldn't accept Jesus! He still loves them though, and they are His people!
