the longer i look at this cherrypickeer thing the better i like it. mainly, no frontloading!! not much posting on it on the boards yet but after first day it should get pretty good... save you the trouble of going to their site (boycott tracking site)- i snagged the rules 'cause they said you can copy and post. here ya go: __________________________________________________ ______ Let it begin with the Tuesday and Wednesday Oct. 18 & 19, 2005 picks for OTCBB & Pink Sheets Step 1. Every Monday and Tuesday evening, get the following lists and copy them into a file on your computer: List of the top 200 OTCBB volume stocks and top 50 Pink Sheets volume stocks for each of these days. (We'll try to have that info here for you by late afternoon each day- but you can also get it from pinksheets.com and otcbbtrader.com). NOTE: GET THE LISTS IN THE EVENING MONDAY & TUESDAY- NOT DURING THE DAY. That's because the lists may keep getting updated throughout the day. And you want everybody to be using the same lists. Step 2. Check the MIDDAY New York State 4-digit lottery number every Tuesday and Wednesday. This draw is made around 12:25 pm Eastern Time. Don't get it confused with their evening draw. Many sources to check the drawing results- here's one: http://www.nylottery.org/ny/nyStore...NavRoot_300.htm Step 3. Take the FIRST 2 digits of the lottery number and that is the starting number of that day's 5 OTCBB picks, i.e., it will be that stock and the 4 stocks immediately following it on the OTCBB list from the PRECEDING evening, i.e., you will use Monday night's list for the Tuesday picks, and you will use Tuesday night's lists for the Wednesday picks. (Example below). Step 4. Take the first occurring PAIR of digits of the lottery number THAT WILL WORK FOR THE TOP 50 PINK SHEETS LIST and that is the starting number of that day's 5 Pink Sheets picks, i.e., it will be that stock and the 4 stocks immediately following it. You will use Monday night's Pink Sheets list for the Tuesday picks, and you will use Tuesday night's lists for the Wednesday picks. (IMPORTANT- SEE EXAMPLES BELOW). If that number PAIR is 47, 48, 49, or 50, resume counting at the top of the Pink Sheets list. (Example below). If there is no PAIR that "works" then there is no Pink Sheets pick for the next day (this avoids confusion- SEE EXAMPLE BELOW). Step 5. Review each of the 10 picks- do your DD!!- then buy only the one you like best. Please read "Vulnerabilities & Advantages" below for warnings and tips.
Examples:
A. Let's say the Tuesday Midday NY Pick 4 number is 4848. This would mean that the Tuesday OTCBB picks would be the OTCBB volume leaders numbered 48th, 49th, 50th, 51st, and 52nd. The Pink Sheets picks would be the 48th, 49th, 50th, 1st, and 2nd.
B. Let's say the Tuesday Midday NY Pick 4 number is 6237. This would mean that the Tuesday OTCBB picks would be the OTCBB volume leaders numbered 62nd, 63rd, 64th, 65th, and 66th. BUT, since the Pink Sheets list is only 50 stocks, "62" does not "work"; the next "working pair" in sequence is therefore "23", so the Pink Sheets picks for that day would be the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th stocks.
C. Let's say the Tuesday Midday NY Pick 4 number is 8762. This would mean that the Tuesday OTCBB picks would be the OTCBB volume leaders numbered 87th, 88th, 89th, 90th, and 91st. BUT, since the Pink Sheets list is only 50 stocks, neither "87" nor "76" nor "62" works; in this case there are no Pink Sheets picks for that day.
