Occasionally I'll see a trade that is 123456 shares traded. Is there a particular signifigance to this? MM's talking? Group setting up a play? Opinions anyone?

Maybe the person buying likes doing stuff like that. There are some people who could be partying or something and just like doing doing crazy stuff

or, if you're willing to include "fringe elements" maybe as Pagan's original post asked, perhaps it's not MMs at all but groups of con artists that play message boards with several identities designed to dupe newbies and folks on "their own" message board...

As far as that goes....I've seen alot of other trades on various stocks that were odd. Like 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, etc (share amounts)....gotta be a group or MM's, or something such as BuyTex just mentioned.
