I really dont know if this is a stupid question or not, but recently I have started investing in penny stocks, i bought $200 worth of shares, that was fine, but i did it through TD bank and i had to pay $29.00 commision just to buy them, then when i made a few dollars, and wanted to sell, I had to pay another $29.00, is there a cheaper way to do this, I think this is retarted, I am from canada, so what works in the states might not work here, please help me out with a place to buy cheaper, thanks for taking the time to reply, all advise would be greatly appreciated!!

Hazel, any thought to going with an online broker like Scottrade? Not sure if it's available in the Great White North, but that's what I use and it's only $7 per trade. I'm kind of new to this, but I've been very happy with their services so far.
