Titan Oil and Gas is expecting a production report on their bastrop county project. They have approximately 4 wells that they are targeting. The first well is expected to produce between 123-170 bpd and large quantities of gas. They are worth a look, even if you dont play o&g stocks. They production report was due 10 days from july 18th, which is anyday now.

jimmybean, you are right on target on this one. It has been a good play in the past and should be for the future.

Posted by jimmybean on :

What i like about it is that their share price is way under valued. If they strike oil, which i think they have a good chance of doing, their shareprice is gonna move up really fast. Currently their at .0065, they should probably be around .0115 or so. But with oil, this thing will climb, and im not missing the ride this time!

no problem. I don't know much about this but this ran huge on the news of getting these oil leases in early may. They stated that they commenced drilling on 7/18 and should have a report out within 10 days. Well, that's tomorrow. I guess if it's good, this will run, if it's bad, then, well, you know...this is all my opinion after about 20 minutes of quick dd on pink sheets.com and stock charts.com

thanks skip for your insight! I'll pick up a few and see how it goes. The last couple oil and gas penny plays ran like hell on good news, don't want to miss the train!!! GLTY

For the past two years at the end of July/early August TNOG had a run to .03-05. I'm expecting another one this year.

Posted by leavenart on :

Rich26, you don't have to worry about missing this train, but you might worry about it running right over you. GL

Posted by The Bigfoot on :

You could easily see a double from this one but be wary and ready to sell when that report comes out. These guys don't have much in the way of positive history in actually coming up with anything.

I've played it three times:
once for a small gain
once a break even
once a bone crushing drop

Not bashing...just saying watch this one closely if you get in.

venezuela to cut off oil supply to the united states, that would cause a spike in pps

Posted by MoonWalker on :

I called TNOG over lunch and talked to the I.R. Department. They said that the 10 days was a little too soon for them to get the results of the drilling and to put out a PR. He said everything with the drilling was going along smoothly and that they have received a lot of calls from people inquiring about the current status. He said TNOG has gathered up all those questions and is working on a PR to answer them and to update on the drilling results. The PR should be out very soon.

I heard something this morning about Chavez. Was that the news?

Chavez from Iran threatens to cut oil supply to the US

Venezuela is considering cutting the oil supply to United States if Washington persists with its current hostile policy towards the President Hugo Chavez regime.
Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez made the announcement Sunday in Teheran following a meeting with Iran’s Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri-Hamaneh.
This is not the first time that high-level Venezuelan officials talk about cutting off the flow of crude to the United States.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has accused Washington of “war mongering and imperialism” and claims the U.S. government has plotted to kill him and invade Venezuela to seize control of the country’s vast hydrocarbons reserves.

Venezuela is the world’s fifth exporter of oil and third supplier to the US.

President Chavez, Ramirez and a numerous delegation are currently visiting Tehran where among other strategic and political issues, a joint Iranian-Venezuelan committee to address energy matters was established.

Minister Vaziri-Hamaneh said the committee would speed the implementation of bilateral agreements and oversee the Iranian oil company Petro Pars's participation in hydrocarbons exploration projects in Venezuela.

"Petro Pars currently has oil exploration and production activities in an oil field in Venezuela, and very soon it will be involved in another project”, said Vaziri-Hamaneh, who revealed the company is planning to spend 4 billion US dollars on developing two major fields, which will be Petro Pars largest investment outside Iran.

The Iranian minister said that Venezuela had been invited “to participate in the joint construction of a refinery with Iran and Indonesia in Indonesia”.

Earlier Sunday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad presented Chavez with Iran's highest award, the Islamic Revolution Medallion, during a ceremony at the University of Tehran.

Ahmadineyad highlighted President Chavez "efforts to impose justice in Venezuela and his strong stance against oppression, which deserves to be praised".

The Iranian president also underlined Chavez "struggle against poverty, illiteracy and unemployment and in support of health and education" and thanked the Venezuela leader for his support of Iran's efforts to develop a peaceful nuclear program.

On Saturday, Chavez blasted U.S. foreign policy during a meeting with Iranian Supreme Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and said his government wanted to strengthen ties with Iran.

“Venezuela's Bolivarian revolution and Iran's Islamic Revolution are sister revolutionary movements”, he emphasized.

Chavez who celebrated his 52nd birthday on Friday added he hoped "that Iran and Venezuela can continue to be allies in the battle against US imperialism".

Blasting Washington and the “puppet” state of Israel, Chavez compared the current invasion and attacks on Lebanon by Israeli forces to those committed “by Hitler against the Jews during the Second World War”.

Chavez currently on a world tour is allegedly after support for his bid to the non permanent Latinamerican seat in the United Nations Security Council at the en of the year. Before Tehran, Chavez visited Russia where he signed a three billion US dollars state of the art fighter planes and helicopters contract with President Vladimir Putin.

From the Bastrop County Report:

------------------------------------------

Initial well - Re-enter the well, isolate the zone of primary interest, perforate, swab test, and frac with at least 30,000 lbs. of sand. Evaluate well and complete if warranted.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
Initial well - Author expects initial flow rates in excess of 100 bopd. It also is expected that production from this well would compare with wells in the Serbin (Taylor Sand) Field regarding total production which would equal over 20,000 bsto of production remaining from this zone. At today’s prices, this well would gross over one million dollars if the well actually produced those amounts.

Titan inks oil-and-gas deal for new field in South Texas
San Antonio Business Journal - May 11, 2006

Titan Oil and Gas Inc. signed a letter of intent with M.S. Klotzman Exploration Co. that calls for developing at least two re-entry, re-working wells in South Texas.

The two companies have agreed to keep specific details of the deal confidential for 60 days. The companies are not releasing the locations of these wells.

Titan CEO John Haylock says the company had been eying prospects at this oil and gas field for some time and will release new details as developments occur.

San Antonio-based Titan (Pink Sheets: TNOG) is an energy company engaged in oil-and-gas development, drilling and production. Titan focuses on redeveloping oil and gas fields with a history of production.

jimmybean Im curious about something.... I did a search on your name and you have never posted anything anywhere other than in a TNOG thread which you have started nearly every single one..... pumping? employed by tnog? have your life savings in there? You are always enthusiastic and make it sound each time u start a thread like u just then stumbled upon the stock. your like the official TNOG guy... whats your deal? I have money in TNOG and u make me nervous about keeping it there.

And well you should be 'volume'. This company is much better at pr's than finding oil. They do manage to trump up a pop each year, but traders are wary now and when they do make a move you had better be quick.
Their latest pr is a perfect example. It makes you think things are really on the move. I mean thirty tons of fracked sand. Wow. That's serious. Too bad you can't find last fall's pr's to peruse.
On the other hand, even a blind hog---- well, you get it I'm sure. Tnog taught me to never let a 'penny' hold my money on promises for months. There are too many other stocks that are actually doing something. Good luck.

Posted by MoonWalker on :

This company is on it's last leg and if they don't find oil this time it might be the end of them (See below).

Yes, every year they do manage to find a small pop and I'm hoping that this week is the week that happens. I'm hoping to at least cash out at .02

I would think that out of the 14 wells they are reworking they chose the one with the most chances to start with since they need that revenue to continue on redeveloping the other wells. This is all speculation though. A lot is riding on this PR and I'm sticking around for the ride. For some reason I have faith in this company. They need to find oil to survive and I believe they'll work hard this time to find it.

I'm going to try calling them again today.

I just called and talked to Branden at 1-888-601-9983.

According to him they are still drilling to reach their target depth and should hit it any time now. He also said they are currently organizing the M.S Klotzman Exploration Co. information for release.

It shouldn't be much longer.

Posted by jimmybean on :

if they release the klotzman deal before the bastrop news, then we should expect good bastrop news. Titan was supposed to release news on the klotzman deal a while ago, i feel that they may have held on to the news just incase that the bastrop well was unsucessful, so if we get news on the klotzman deal first, odds are that we hit a winner with the bastrop #1

Posted by MoonWalker on :

I was relooking over the charts this morning and in my opinion good news could put this to .03-.05 and really good news could take this to .10

They have 14 wells in the Bastrop deal and at least 2 major wells in the Klotzman deal. TNOG's ready to fly, we just need the news.

Yeah, last time this ran I jumped in late at .013 and then it dropped. I sold at a loss and flipped the remaining money into WWEN. I made back my loss plus some and then flipped money back into TNOG and am hoping that when this runs WWEN will have bottomed out. Then I can take profits from this and invest back into WWEN, NDOL and maybe NECX.

Not sure if this means anything. I was checking my Etrade account and noticed a Reuters Company Research PDF for Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. It's 7 pages of everything you need to know about the company and It's dated July 26th.

Usually I don't see research PDF's on penny stock companies. That's why I find it so interesting. If anyone wants a PDF of this, send me a private message with your email address and I'll send it to you.

BP Shuts Down Major Alaskan Oil Field
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 7, 2006
(AP) Oil giant BP has indefinitely shut down the nation's biggest oilfield after finding a pipeline leak, removing about 8 percent of U.S. oil production and stoking fears that already high gas prices will shoot up further.

Steve Marshall, president of BP Exploration Alaska, Inc. said Sunday night that the eastern side of Prudhoe Bay would be shut down first, an operation anticipated to take 24 to 36 hours. The company will then move to shut down the west side, a move that could close more than 1,000 Prudhoe Bay wells.

Once the field is shut down, BP said oil production will be reduced by 400,000 barrels a day. That's close to 8 percent of U.S. oil production or about 2.6 percent of U.S. supply including imports, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The shutdown comes at an already worrisome time for the oil industry, with supply concerns stemming both from the hurricane season and instability in the Middle East.

A 400,000-barrel per day reduction in output would have a major impact on oil prices, said Tetsu Emori, chief commodities strategist at Mitsui Bussan Futures in Tokyo. A barrel contains 42 gallons of crude oil.

"Oil prices could increase by as much as $10 per barrel given the current environment," Emori said. "But we can't really say for sure how big an effect this is going to have until we have more exact figures about how much production is going to be reduced."

But Victor Shum, an energy analyst with Purvin & Gertz in Singapore, said he expected the impact to be minimal since crude inventories are high.

"So while this won't have any immediate impact on U.S. supplies, the market is in very high anxiety. So any significant disruption, traders will take that into account, even though there is no threat of a supply shortage."

Light, sweet crude for September delivery was up $1.23 to $75.99 a barrel in mid-afternoon Asian electronic trading Monday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Marshall said tests Friday indicated that there were 16 anomalies in 12 areas in an oil transit line on the eastern side of Prudhoe Bay. Tests found losses in wall thickness of between 70 and 81 percent. Repair or replacement is required if there is more than an 80 percent loss.

"The results were absolutely unexpected," Marshall said.

BP officials said they didn't know how long the Prudhoe Bay field would be off line. "I don't even know how long it's going to take to shut it down," said Tom Williams, BP's senior tax and royalty counsel.

BP America Chairman and President Bob Malone said Prudhoe Bay will not resume operating until the company and government regulators are satisfied it can run safely without threatening the environment.

"We regret that it is necessary to take this action and we apologize to the nation and the State of Alaska for the adverse impacts it will cause," Malone said in a statement.

The shutdown comes six months after the North Slope's biggest ever oil spill was discovered on a Prudhoe Bay transit line. Some 267,000 gallons of oil spilled.

While BP suspects corrosion in both damaged lines, they can't say for sure until further tests are complete. Workers also found a small spill, estimated to be about 4 to 5 barrels, which has been contained and clean up efforts are under way, BP said.

BP, a unit of the London-based company BP PLC, puts millions of gallons of corrosion inhibitor into the Prudhoe Bay lines each year. It also examines pipes by taking X-rays and ultrasound images.

A prolonged Prudhoe Bay shutdown would be a major blow to domestic oil production, but even a short one could be crippling to Alaska's economy.

Alaska House Speaker John Harris said it was admirable that BP took immediate action, although it's sure to hurt state coffers. "This state cannot afford to have another Exxon Valdez," said Harris, R-Valdez.

The Exxon Valdez tanker emptied 11 million gallons of crude oil into Prince William Sound in 1989, killing hundreds of thousands of birds and marine animals and soiling more than 1,200 miles of rocky beach in nation's largest oil spill.

That reminds me of an interesting series on the Discovery Channel I just started watching. "Oil, Sweat and Rigs."

----------------------------------------------

If you have cable television, then tune in to the Discovery Channel for "Oil, Sweat, and Rigs" on Tuesday nights at 10:00 pm EST/PST. It's the story of a massive industry recovery effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico. Hundreds of oil platforms, pipelines, and refineries were destroyed or badly damaged. The show is similar in style to the wildly popular, "Deadliest Catch," about crab fishing in Alaska's Bering Sea.

Watching the show you'll get an idea of what kinds of jobs exist on an offshore oil rig. You get to see 'greenhorns' -- industry newcomers -- being trained and in action, divers doing salvage work, the process of getting the oil pumping, the technology involved, and a lot more. Each episode puts amazing industry technology on display as well as science, and there's no shortage human drama. The workers are often stretched to their physical max with the work and in tough weather conditions while working these oil rig jobs.

"Oil, Sweat, and Rigs" debuted in the spring of 2006 and is likely to be in re-runs at various times throughout the year. Full information about this great series is online at: http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/oilsweatrigs/oilsweatrigs.html

----------------------------------------------

And last Wednessday the senate passed a bill to expand oil and gas drilling off the Gulf of Mexico. The race for oil is on!

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, Aug 24, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (TNOG: PK) is pleased to announce a successful conclusion to drilling operations at the Bastrop County site.

During drilling we started to produce gas at appx. 5,000 feet. We have determined that we are producing from a Taylor Sand Formation.

Gas wells from the formation in this area generally do not produce without a hydraulic fracturing treatment, so we have been extremely pleased to note that the well has been producing at the rate of appx. 30 mcf per day of gas without any stimulation whatsoever. While exact results cannot be predicted, a hydraulic fracturing treatment will now be applied and is expected to increase production rates dramatically. We will be calling out a crew to lay a gas line to connect to a nearby service to bring our gas to market.

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc.: Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. Bastrop Project Successful Gas Well Completion in Taylor Sand Formation

SAN ANTONIO, TX, Aug 24, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Titan Oil and Gas, Inc.

There is a second well, offset to this one, which is being considered for the same process as we are now concluding.

Once the hydraulic fracturing treatment is started production rates will increase dramatically!!! And this is only the first well out of thirteen possibly 14 wells!!

Posted by BATAVIA on :

It's a start, but let's see some oil, too.

Posted by MoonWalker on :

Yes it would have been nice if the PR said they have reworked over all thirteen wells and are producing large quantities of oil and gas, but that is simply unrealistic. These things take time.

All companies must start somewhere and I'd rather them start by finding gas in the first well instead of finding a dry hole. I can feel my wallet getting fatter as I type this. This is only the beginning!!!

Posted by BATAVIA on :

I take anything here (TNOG) with a grain of salt.
Many people are tied up in this and hang on any word management may offer. I am not bashing but am watching this very carefully. The IR is less than reliable, management ties their hands for the most part.

We have heard much with little delivered. I am just as hopeful, but overly cautious. I get my cheerleading from Clayton. Positive is fine, oil is better. LOL

Posted by MoonWalker on :

No. Do some DD and try calling him yourself.

------------------------------------

Q: I noticed that there was no mention of oil, can you elaborate?
A: The gas was the first to be drilled for several possible reasons,
1. Ease of which to do right now.
2. Solid cash flow potential.

Q: Was this expected or is this being viewed as a negative in anyway?
A: Certainly NOT negative, Pete was surprised that the flow quanity was at 30 mcf. Usually it is far less, and does not show
improvement until other processes like fracturing are employed.

Q: What did the PR mean when it mentioned that upon fracturing the gas production flow rates would dramatically increase? By a factor of what, 3, 5, or 10? Any thoughts?
A: Not sure, but you can see that the potential with additional
well(s) the income can grow quite rapidly. Also remember that NG prices are at seasonal lows.

Q: What about the additional well, and how soon to get the gas to market?
A: The fracturing process and the laying of pipe to the connection point is going to try to be timed for completion at about the same time. The distance is about 1 mile to tie-in.

Q: Any time estimates?
A: Within 2 months just to be safe.

Q: Any word on Klotzman or other JV projects?
A: The main focus has been on Bastrop, but many other things are on going.

Q: What would be your best guess as to the frequency of PR's from this point forward?
A: I have been asking Tnog management to be more frequent with their updates to shareholders and they are receptive to that. On average maybe one every couple of weeks, but take that with a grain of salt because it will depend upon conditions that are not always under Titan's control, i.e. weather, supply delays for equipment, etc. There may be several stacked close together, while other times will have longer down or quiet periods.

Q: You see the Titan team, we as shareholders do not, what was your impression with how they felt about the news today?
A: Thrilled and pleasantly surprised.

Q: I view this as a long term investment. Having said that, as I see the share price now, we are up about 40%. I think the day traders and momenteum players are not real happy and I think things may get volatile in the near term. Any thoughts.
A: I think that the short term traders and speculators are going to be replaced by long term investors over time, and that is always a good thing. I agree with your outlook.

Thanks Brandon, I look forward to you getting Titan to put out more updates for all the projects, and most importantly, updates on production and how that relates to the bottom line. Also, I do not wish ill of anyone, but I think if we see any hurricane action in the Gulf this season, then couple that with the fact summer is winding down may prove the wisdom in going after NG is nothing short of a stroke of genius. Prices won't be getting any cheaper in my opinion.

Thats it folks. I am feeling real good about where things are headed.

Your style of writing sounds like a pumper from the TNOG LONG BOARD where in order to become a member you have to show them a copy of your brokerage statement and 2 years of 1099's or W2's.

Really that conversation sounds contrived. LOL

Exactly.

Once the hydraulic fracturing and gas line connecting the well to the gas gathering line is completed... $$$

They said it should take no longer than 2 months to complete. This Thursday it will have been a month. The MM's are shaking out loose hands now and walking down the price to gather up all the shares. They don't want to short themselves this time. Once this first well is producing we should see a snowball affect with the other wells. The PPS should continue to rise.

Take a look at AQCI's chart. Once TNOG gets this 1st well producing I expect their chart to follow the same path as AQCI:

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc.: Final Process Underway to Bring Eberle #1 Gas
Well On-Line
Friday November 3, 9:10 am ET

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 3, 2006 -- Titan Oil and Gas,
Inc. (TNOG: PK) is pleased to announce the commencement of the final
phase to bring its Eberle #1 gas well in Bastrop County, Texas,
on-line, with a rig on its way to the site. With the successful
conclusion of operations on the Eberle #1, preparations will be made
to undertake development of an additional well in close proximity to
it, where we will hope to obtain a similar result.

Previous operations in August proved successful. Gas production was
achieved at appx. 5,000 feet, from what has been determined to be a

this is "sweet" gas without measurable H2S content, which commands the
highest price at market.

As earlier announced, wells in this area are best developed with
hydraulic fracturing to obtain maximum production levels. This process
was recommended in the In-Depth Bastrop County Report prior to
commencement of operations, and will now be applied to bring the well
on-line.

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (TNOG: PK) is pleased to report that the rig at the Bastrop County site has been making excellent progress in preparing the Eberle # 1 well for hydraulic fracturing. Lab test results on gas samples from this well were posted in our previous news release on November 3,2006.

In the hydraulic fracturing process, sand will be forcibly injected into the formation at extremely high pressures, out to a radius which may extend up to 200 feet outward from the well. This process is designed to open up the fractures of the formation more fully for the highest potential volume of gas flow.

As part of this process, a cement bond test has been performed. This measures the adherence of the cement well casing to the formation surrounding it. With the extreme pressures at work in the hydraulic fracturing process, pressure could easily bleed off up and down the outside of the casing if it were not bonded tightly to the formation. It is important to focus the pressure directly on the zone which has tested for gas. In the Eberle # 1 well, this is at appx. 5,000 feet in depth, in what has been determined to be a Taylor Sand Formation.

We are pleased to report that the test verified a solid cement bond, with no need to utilize further specialized cement applications to isolate the target zone. The well is now prepared and ready for hydraulic fracturing, and the equipment has been ordered to the site to complete this process.

Along with our partners in this project, Houston-based Oasis Oil and Gas Corporation and San Antonio based Tejones Operating Corporation, we are eagerly looking forward to the results of this procedure, and will issue an update to our shareholders with news as it is available.

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. -- Production Phase Commences After Settlement Reached
Monday April 23, 9:00 am ET

With Its Settlement Reached, Titan Oil and Gas Enters Into Its Second Phase of Reorganization With a Focus on Broadening and Increasing Production

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 23, 2007 -- Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (Other OTC:TNOG.PK - News) has negotiated its settlement with RR Ventures, d.b.a. Bulldog Well Service. The arrangement was made as part of the management team's multi-phase reorganization plan. "This is an integral step in getting Titan back on track to becoming the company that investors had envisioned. Now we can get on with actual oil and gas production," according to company Vice President Brandon Toth. The payments to Bulldog Well Service will be a combination of cash and restricted stock. The cash component of the settlement will come from the sale of oil and gas from both producing wells and current wells about to go online.

The settlement was reached in an out of court agreement between the two companies after suit had been filed in the 81st Texas Judicial District Court. Both Titan Oil and Gas and Kent Jacobson were named in the suit. While Mr. Jacobson was part of the suit, Titan Oil and Gas management has chosen to sever their ties and make restitution without incurring further complications. "Rather than belaboring the point, we thought this step was important so that Titan could move forward," company president John Marconette stated, when asked to reflect on the agreement.

With the agreement, both management and the company's newly empanelled advisory team came to consensus as to the importance of this part of the first phase. Bulldog Well Service has shown a demonstrable amount of confidence in Titan Oil and Gas' ability to achieve projected production by the terms of the agreement. This agreement also brings to a close the first part of the phased turnaround framework, leading to production as the focus in the management's second phase. Updates will be forthcoming regarding actual production numbers.

The first segment of the phased reorganization was marked by two main goals that were met: the addition of management and advisors that could devise and implement a ground-up plan for the reorganization and successful management of operations for the company's portfolio of holdings, then addressing the company's debts so that Titan Oil and Gas could meet the goals that management had determined were appropriate moving forward. This also includes the lawsuit having been settled in its entirety and Bulldog's claims against Kent Jacobson being dismissed.

This thread has fizzled to page 3 of the message boards, yet TNOG is having an awesome run. I don't get it... there's about 9-10 posters on this forum who are usually on top of this stuff and do their due diligence for the rest of us.

C'mon guys, I need to copy your homework. You know the drill.

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. - Leases Signed in Kern County California
Titan Oil and Gas Has Signed Oil and Gas Leases on 480 Acres in the Southwest United States' Largest Prolific Area, Kern County, California
Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TNOG) is pleased to announce as part of the second phase of reorganization, the acquisition of 480 acres of oil and gas leases in the prolific Kern County, California region. "If Kern County was a state it would rank just behind California and ahead of Oklahoma in the production of oil," Brandon Toth - Vice President of Communication. The leases were purchased based on the proximity to major oil producing fields whereas the undeveloped land in the region is thought to be a prime target for new development.

Kern County is California's top oil-producing areas; it contains 85% of the state's 43,000 oil wells. The County is one of the largest producing regions in the country with three of the top five wells in the country. The largest of these is the Midway-Sunset field that produced more than 39.7 million barrels of oil in 2006, according to the California Division of Oil, Gas & Geothermal Resources. The county is responsible for upwards of one percent of the total production of oil in the world. "The undertaking is large but the potential rewards obviously make all of us excited about moving forward," stated John Marconette, the company's President.

The project was located by new management through their connections in oil and gas industry and the rights were purchased by Titan Oil and Gas. It lies east of Bakersfield and is surrounded by such mega fields as: Ant Hill, Edison (144 million barrels extracted as of 2000), and Kern Bluff. Oil operators in the area include: Chevron, Southern Oil and Gas, Western Petroleum Co., Mobil Oil Corp., and Stockdale Oil and Gas to name a few. Plans include a strategic review of the area and potential on our 480 acres as well as entertaining joint ventures with similar minded oil and gas companies on this field.

Having met the benchmarks of the first phase of the turnaround the leadership of Titan Oil and Gas have set about with implementation of a wide variety of strategies in their production oriented second phase. The Kern County operation represents just one aspect of this as others will follow.

Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. - Eberle #1 Prepares for Connection to the DCP Midstream Pipeline
Monday April 30, 10:00 am ET

Titan Oil and Gas Continues in the Second Phase of Its Turnaround, as Its Eberle #1 Is Poised for Connection to DCP Midstream's Gas Pipeline

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 30, 2007 -- Titan Oil and Gas, Inc. (Other OTC:TNOG.PK - News) is pleased to announce that production at its Eberle #1 gas well in Bastrop County, Texas will allow for connection to DCP Midstream's gas pipeline. This arrangement will provide a steady distribution channel and income for the company. DCP Mainstream has been intensifying pipeline development in the area because of recent natural gas recoveries. It is because of this that Titan Oil and Gas has also looked at expanding onto adjoining properties in the area. DCP Midstream is a joint venture of ConocoPhillips and Spectra Energy, which is itself a spin-off of Duke Energy, one of North America's leading power producers with operations and assets in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Vice President of Communications Brandon Toth related, "The well's connection to the pipeline affords us a steady and reliable income so that we can implement other aspects of the turnaround plan. This has occurred exactly as conceived, we're on the right track." As a key component in the Management Team's forward-looking program, the success of this goal in the phased turnaround process is a major development. As previous operations in July, August and November proved successful, gas production was achieved at approximately 5,000 feet after drilling. The well was determined to be a Taylor Sand Formation, which provides a high quality or "sweet" gas that commands the highest price at market.

"The Bastrop County Project [Eberle #1] was handled with care because there were so many other variables that had to be addressed first so that this would provide maximum benefit to shareholders." This according to President John Marconette in reference to operations started at the Eberle #1, Bastrop County, Texas site in July of 2006. The Eberle #1 site was being developed almost simultaneously as the company was in the midst of leadership changes.

Current partners in the Eberle #1 project include, Tejones Operating Corp. and Oasis Oil and Gas. J.R. Harrison heads Oasis Oil and Gas Corporation, a Houston-based company. Mr. Harrison has been in the petroleum and fuels marketing business for the last 18 years, and has worked with major oil companies such as Exxon Mobil and Shell Oil. Mr. Thomas Gouger III heads Tejones Operating Corporation. Mr. Gouger has been an oil and gas operator for over 25 years in the South Texas area. The company looks forward to continued relationships with these and other partners in a number of future projects.

It seems to me this stock is extremely undervalued. With the latest round of PR's it would seem this thing would be over a penny.

WTF??!!

Posted by tintin on :

They have pro bashers working angainst them.

Remember AMEP, exactly the same story than TNOG's gonna do. Bought some AMEP at 0.0046 and sold them at 0.08

We are gonna see this stock ( TNOG)around 0.05 in the next year. Get ready guys.

excuse my poor language, im from québec the frenchy country.

Sounds good to me tintin, .05 would make me a very happy man.

Wow, French Canadian, I suppose I could say, "merci...aye"

Well guys I been in this one off and on for a long long time. Way to long for a penny stock. I have seen this hit over three cents. I am currently holding some for a loss, but I do like this company. they were looking touch and go for a while, but they seem to be serious about their business. I maybe a glutton, but I am considering buying more with the latest rounds of news. We'll see! Good luck to all

I don't need hope with the way TNOG's been moving. This has gone from a 2-year low of .0016 to a high of .008 in no time at all. I'm sure all those people that bought in around .002 are pretty happy right now. You can't argue with that.

With the Eberle well finally going online, their new lease in highly productive Kern County, gasoline prices nearing $4 this summer, plus whatever new management still has in the works...
We have only seen the tip of the iceberg.

Stanley production numbers for Feb/March are now available on the TRRC.

Posted by jon clogger on :

Thanks Ganoga, but what is the TRRC? I'm highly interested in TNOG's progress!!

Thanks- The clogger of jons...

Posted by jon clogger on :

Okay, I actually did a little DD and found the TRRC, disregard last post Ganoga, thnx anyways!!

Posted by Ganoga94 on :

Feb. (88) / March (30)

This may not seem like much, but if you check the past year of production numbers you will see that within the past four months production has been significantly increasing. What they did I'm not sure of, but they must have done something. This gives them a steady stream of income to keep TNOG running. Bastrop is what will rocket it to the top!

Since Titan released the Eberle sweet gas results, 4 new wells have been drilled within 2 miles of the Eberle well!

SEC Votes To End Short-Selling 'Grandfather' Protections
11:39 AM EDT June 13, 2007

By Judith Burns
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Securities and Exchange Commission voted
Wednesday to approve a change to tighten rules intended to curb
manipulative short sales, including so-called "naked" short sales.
The change eliminates a controversial exception that shielded existing
short positions from requirements to deliver hard-to-borrow shares
within 13 days of settlement. Once the change takes effect, short
positions previously protected by the grandfather clause must be
closed out within 35 days.
SEC Chairman Christopher Cox said persistent failures to deliver
shares sold short seem to be due to the grandfather protections, which
the SEC included in 2004 to prevent stock-market volatility. Critics
complained the protections undermined efforts to clean up abuses
involving "naked" short sales.
Short selling involves sales of borrowed securities, producing profits
when prices decline. The practice is legal, but the SEC's Regulation
SHO sought to prevent "naked" short sales, in which short sellers
don't borrow securities they sell.
SEC officials said delivery failures have declined about 35% overall
since Regulation SHO took effect and have fallen about 53% for
hard-to-borrow stocks defined as "threshold" securities.
