1st thing is .. if you are internet savy enough to find the website.. then your more than capable of finding and downloading better quality sounding music for free. period. Both legal and illegal recordings. Take your pick.
Not to mention.. i listened to and downloaded both the free samples and the partial downloads they have. Most of them had static white noise from the poor bitrate quality they use for the mp3's or they used a very poor mp3 converter. (and i do have a high end pc and sound gear , so it isn't me) So they will have to upgrade to wave ,.shn or flac files for lossless compression to give the "true" sound quality to make it worth the users money. Then again.. some enjoy static in their music... me I just like good music.
then you have the .99 cent charge per song download, unless I am mistaken. Nope.. not gonna happen in my mind. Hope I am wrong . Just nothing top notch worth listening to IMO.. let alone paying 99 cents for.
All in all a worthy cause for startup musicians... just not noble enough to bring in paying customers I think.
Just keep in mind how down record sales are due to people using file sharing programs to trade music. Now why will they pay for this.
wish em luck. Not getting my money.
You never loose till you sell is my WORD!
Go ADVK, someday......
LOL,
Chuck

if it is still out there...check out my old band that i managed Nino Brown on mp3.com

I bought in at.16 and again at .08 my average price is actually .097 but I wish I would have bought in at .046 today because I could have at least made a small gain.
Most of them got out in the low .20's, and well, I bet the rest of you can guess who the people left holding the bag were..
