Direct Pet Health Finalizes Agreement With First Pet Life to Acquire Assets

Dallas, April 4, 2007 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Direct Pet Health Holdings Inc (DPHG, Trade ) announced today the finalization and agreement with First Pet life to acquire certain assets. The acquisition of Assets represents the first realization of a new strategic agenda. "By acquiring these assets DPHG has accelerated its progress in becoming a pet industry leader," stated Direct Pet Health President and CEO, Michael F. Scaccia.
Through this acquisition Direct Pet health has acquired the insurance contract as well as the back end support of a trusted pet insurance company. In doing so this enables DPHG to start writing policies and generating revenue instantly. DPHG has also acquired an E-commerce site which will enable them to add on products through exclusive agreements, joint ventures and cross promoting. All of which will be generating instant revenue. Also acquired were such assets: Website, License Agreements, Domain names, Trademarks, Copyrights,etc.. In consideration for purchase of assets First Pet Life agreed to sum payment of 408,703 shares of Direct Pet Health Holdings Inc. In addition the earnings growth the acquisition represents the first successful acquisition by Direct Pet Health.
The acquisition is an important step in moving the business forward. This is vital to strengthen our credibility and build support with partners as well as current shareholders.

Well that and other things...
1) The b/a spread- not a deal breaker 2) The lack of bid support, with UBSS posting a bid lot size of 1 (seems fake) 3) The last five trades have been .001 at 69k .0024 at 57k .002 at 25k .002 at 42k .0016 at 17.6k
The majority of the buys were at the ask at .001- it just would seem to me if this were going to REALLY ramp up, we'd see a lot more volume and some very strong bid support.
I've been wrong before- I'd love to be wrong, but it's just suspicious.

was .001/.002 one second- the next .0005/.001- this thing is schizoid- MMs dont know what to do with this...again though, if you look at the data, most sales are going through at .001, .0011

This was very weird- I don't know if it was poorly orchestrated dilution, front loading or none of the above, but this sucker never really got its legs today. Guess there's an hour left...
