I have a feeling that all the Canadians are at the penny stock board....The Canadian Stocks board is loosing people...come on we have some good stocks too (except the Nortel)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the end it does not matter which board you are - we are all here to make money!
Just a thought of the day - to break the tension from the RED stocks

I still believe that NORTEL has future especially having Owen on board (this is what we need a military guy to run the company and NT can be like RIM (Research in Motion). I been buying and selling back and forth, but I missed the 11.95 mark and stay until now, pulling my hair because last buy was for 6.30 and 10.95....GOOD BUY NOW this may be bottom price read more: http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/apr2004/tc20040429_9190_tc024.htm

Nortel is a PRIME candidate for a hostile takeover now.... it's pps is way below actual value... company is a leader on many fronts. Takeover by Nokia? Alcatel? Check the Globe this morning... already, talk is starting. salemm.

No... you don't lose your shares. In fact, the price of your NT shares will sky-rocket! Basically, a company doing a takeover will try to buy as many shares as it can...so it can be controlling shareholder... so all that buying drives the price up of each share, including yours. Anyway, there's always been talk of takeovers with Nortel, especially after the plunge a few years back. Who knows. And perhaps the Canadian gov't would step in to prevent a takeover(not sure how, though)... after all, Nortel is Canadian-made and represents a whole lot to many Canadians. Has summer arrived in Aurora yet?? It's slowly making it's way to Ottawa now... too bad they're calling for rain this weekend. salemm.

Thanks for the info....hopefully I can get my money back or again of if I stay for long term it may actually pay off....
It been nice for last couple of days...above 20 C....one of my trees got green over night, it amazing.....looking forward to this summer...more time off this year.

Beautiful summer weather here in BC -hard to believe its April ,almost toohot for golf,,ALMOST LOL. Think Nortel is headed back down under 4$ and will be a buy there.JMHO
