Take a look on http://www.e-mastertrade.com/en/main/reviews/data/2004_01/20040126_133751_yb.asp They say it's too late to invest in stock market, that stock market is overbought. I want to discuss it with you, guys. I hope they are mistaken. I'm not an active trader. That's why I care about it. I've lost a lot of money in 2001. I don't want to lose again. Need your advice!

PEPPER I know you are young and fairly new from other posts. Be very careful as you read articles. Everyone has an agenda and often a stake they may not mention. Find stocks that are solid( I assume thats why you read this board) but more important have a good reason for buying a stock. This board trades momentum, but that does not stop you for having other reasons. Good stocks may get pushed around by the "market" but don't tank. VAN

IT'S ABSOLUTE AMAZING HOW THIS STUFF ALWAYS MANAGES TO APPEAR.
WHAT THE ARTICLE DOENS'T TELL YOU IS WHAT INSIDERS KNOW AND HAVE KNOWN FOR ALL OF ETERNITY:
TRILLIONS WITH A T AND NOT BILLIONS OR MILLIONS ARE MADE SHORTING; HENCE A FALLING MARKET. IF THE AVERAGE JOE POSTED THIS HE WOULD BE A PUMPER BUT WHEN THE "PROS" DO IT, IT'S CALLED PUMPING AND DUMPING.
NO ONE BUY STOCK SO THE STOCKS, ALL OF THEM PLUMMET AND THEN SELL OUT AFTER SHORTING.

GLASS Well niether was I. What was it? Also seen a lot of postings about brokers equipment not working. Wondering if the new ruling and Fridays Option close is not affecting this. I can't remember the date the SEC ruler took effect. but MM's who are in too deep would start early ??? I also think the gold shorting will present a nice bump. VAN

GLASS I collected silver for 35 years. Then when it went up big time I sold and bought Gold coins. I used Blanchard & Lear Financial. In any case circumstances are relative to 1933 when Government outlaw gold ownership. SO I converted my inventory to Collector grade((15% or greater premium) same as the politicians use to squirel away assets(art too) In any case Blanchard has sued JPMorgan & Barrick gold for shorting Big time. Haven't heard the results of the suit yet,but the new SEC rule + the suit is going to force millions of short ounces to cover. I figure some of the smaller mines like "KGC" will be called upon to make these ounces available. So I am heavy in those stocks. Think I"ll check back with Blanchard tomorrow, let you know. VAN

I just reread that on my post-LOL I really am tired did you say MILIONS of ounces? Very interesting Van- I'm so exhausted right now I can't do any more DD tonight but that sounds like a serious play in the making--I have a long list of gold stocks to poke through--did you follow USGL over the last month? they had a decent strike.

GLASS I talked to BLANCHARD yesterday late. Here is the status as I understand it. I feel the story has changed a bit based on a SALE and an information call (what's new?).Anyway LAWSUIT previous metioned still in discovery, goal is to force the defendants to quit borrowing ounces amoung themselves to hold price down. This is not as I was told earlier, but the outfall with speculators will still have to adjust ie if you held a 1000 option contract at 270 expiring after the above situation works itself out currently this would cost you $14m I looked at USGL, but didn't buy. I juggling funds at the time. Will look again. VAN

I am watching USGL for entry too--I was busy with something else when the news came out--I have been trading MAGR heavy cuz of its newness--I like speculation on pre-strikes more than the metal itself--too many very very smart and heavy players for me to sort out--i can understand anticipation activity much better.
