The money was wired from my bank account today, but Lowtrades still shows me at a zero balance. I was hoping they'd have it up by the end of the trading today, so I could start trading tomorrow.

THE FED GETS IT AND TAKES UP TO 24 HOURS TO FORWARD THE FUNDS. KEYWORD, "UP TO"

YOUR STOCK ACCOUNT SHOULD BE CREDITED WITHIN THE HOUR OF RECEIPT OF FUNDS.

I was told that as long as I do it by about 2 or 3pm that the wire should get there that same day and the funds should be available very soon thereafter.

Well I actually filled out the forms for the wire this previous Friday at about 4 pm, once I was off from work. My bank(Washington Mutual) said they wouldn't transfer it because it was after 12 noon. They told me this after I filled out the paperwork of course, so I didnt have much chance to complain.

On top of that, they wouldn't send the wire on Saturday. The bank is open Saturday, but for whatever reason, they don't do wire transfers on a Saturday. But this morning they did transfer the funds from my bank account.

So right now I'm just waiting for Lowtrades to credit my account. When I log in and check my balance, it is listing it as of 1-9-04, rather then todays date. I'm not sure why its behind or if thats involved at all. But regardless, I'm hoping to have the funds in my account tomorrow morning. I've seen far to many stocks jump during this 2 weeks of waiting, and I've missed many opportunities.
