Somatic Systems Begins Successful New Training Class With Enrollment up for 2008 Jan 17, 2008 8:55:00 AM View Additional ProfilesNORTHAMPTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/17/08 -- Somatic Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SMAS) is pleased to announce that the class of 2009 has begun their Clinical Somatic Education Professional Training Program.
This 3 semester Class, ending in late 2009, is Somatic Systems' largest revenue stream, generating approximately $10,000 per student over the 3 semesters. Student enrollment is up this year by 23% compared with the class of 2008. This enrollment growth not only provides greater revenue, but also accelerates the presence of Somatics practitioners throughout the Northeast United States. Expansion of Certified Clinical Somatics Practitioners is one of the strongest methods the company has of generating new market share for their products and services, and readying the company for its expansion plans.
"We're excited that the Clinical Somatic Education Professional Training Program continues to draw talented and varied students from the fields Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Yoga Instructors, and Personal Training, as well as those involved in Marketing, Finance, and other professions. This diversity of practitioners is helpful in spreading the efficacy of Somatics as a health practice to many segments of the population," stated CEO Steven Aronstein. This class also continues the successful partnership with a multi-clinic Physical Therapy practice in Connecticut by beginning the training of 3 more practitioners from those clinics.
The timing of this class also puts Somatic Systems back on the schedule of running 3 concurrent trainings, as the class of 2010 is scheduled to begin later this year. This will ensure a consistent revenue stream in the company's largest division, while also driving greater market share. The 2008 fiscal year will include revenue from the second semester of class of 2009, the third semester of 2008, and the first semester of 2010. The company expects this sales cycle to provide revenue growth for 2008 that meets or exceeds expectations.
The sales process has already begun for Somatic Systems' next training class and appears to be on schedule for increased enrollment, especially given the success of the company's recent partnership with college recruiting services. The company also expects strong increases in training enrollment from their feature on the "Health Forum" television show, which will begin airing on WE tv, the Travel Channel, and local stations nationwide starting later this quarter.

Just got this email from the CEO---------------------------------------Yes, I think some news soon. The TV shows should start showing up soon, so we'll PR show times; and I think we may be able to release financials soon.
We are currently also negotiating on a new product line, and a new web
site and branding strategy to launch the beginnings of national promotions that the TV shows will be a part of. We will PR these as soon as they unfold.
We are currently training/preparing practitioners for the upcoming year of increased exposure.
I will be traveling out-of-town for the next week and a half to work on some aspects of these growth plans, so I may not be very reachable,
but I will be back in the office the end of next week.

Bob,
No, that is not true. Your email is the first I've heard of that rumor; and I do not know who is stating this. We are ABSOLUTELY NOT working with any kind of pumping firm or individuals, but it appears this person is either taking things into their own hands or got hold of inaccurate information from someone else. We have not published or
disclosed any information like this at all to anyone.
As you know, we are working on a large capital investment with investment firms, and we expect large amounts of money for a company of our size; and with our low-overhead affordable infrastructure growth plan, large amounts will go even farther with us than with many
public companies. However, an infusion of over half a billion dollars
would not only be unrealistic for a microcap company, but potentially come with undesirable costs to shareholders and company alike; I assure you, if we find a good and fair deal like that, we will gladly do it -- we would be happy to spend that kind of money making Somatics
(and our products and services) a household name in every country, not
just the US.

2nd email from the ceo----Bob,
You're right, the TV shows are taking a while to get on the air; I think they had some last minute production delays, but everything is still on. I've been traveling out of state, but I will be speaking with them later this week about it. Again, the TV shows ARE STILL ON and will be broadcast soon.
We did already sign up with an investment banking firm, so things are moving along. The next phase, of actually structuring the financing, is ongoing. This is a slow process, both because big healthy capital infusions take a lot of paperwork, and because everything moves slowly
in the current market. However, everything is proceeding as planned and we are excited for big growth this year, next year, and beyond.

RELAXING HU,KEWL now READ THIS- from STEVE TODAY.Rick,
1. I will try to get the share count as soon as I can. As I said, these past few weeks and months have been whirlwind busy. You can also get it by calling the transfer agent, if you want it sooner than I can get to it.
2. This summer.
3. Yes, I still stand by my reverse split statement: We have no plans for a reverse split.
(Remember that the current market cap of this company is so low $(0.5m) that there is tremendous room for the share price to grow even with the current large number of shares outstanding.)
As you know, long-term promise in this stock is great, but we are also working to improve the share price short-term. So, instead of a reverse split, we are looking at other strategies in addition to IR, including the possibility of a share buyback or canceling shares.

Somatic Systems, Inc. to Become Nationally Certified Training Program Thursday July 31, 9:27 am ET
NORTHAMPTON, MA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 31, 2008 -- Somatic Systems, Inc. (Other OTC:SMAS.PK - News) is proud to announce the near completion of the application process to become the first Clinical Somatic Education school licensed by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). ADVERTISEMENT
The NCBTMB is the national, accredited regulatory agency for movement therapy and therapeutic massage professionals, operating the national certification process and examinations that are mandatory for most practitioners to work and to obtain state approval to operate. The NCBTMB is considered the single most influential organization in the massage therapy world today, with only a few massage professionals who are not affected by its regulations.
A critical part of this ongoing certification process requires massage therapists to complete regular continuing education programs throughout their entire careers (generally every four years), and these continuing education programs must be licensed by the NCBTMB. This is the credential that NCBTMB approval will grant Somatic Systems' Clinical Somatic Education Professional Training Program.
While Somatic Systems' training program caters to and is marketed to a wide variety of demographics, including physical therapists, chiropractors, and physicians, obtaining this role in the field of professional massage as well is a highly lucrative opportunity for the company. There are approximately 100,000 massage therapists in the US, with over 130 million visits to massage therapists annually, generating $11 billion in revenue.
Somatic Systems' Clinical Somatic Education program is the company's highest revenue generating service, currently priced at $12,000 per student (up from $9,850 per student last year). Since Somatic Systems began the Clinical Somatics program in 2003, enrollment has grown by 50% each year. NCBTMB licensure of Somatic Systems' Clinical Somatics program as provider of the mandatory continuing education credits for all these massage therapists will provide unprecedented growth and revenue opportunities for Somatic Systems.
Adding this credential to Somatic Systems' training program continues to build its rapidly growing reputation and presence in the health care field. It also complements and paves the way for Somatic Systems' larger strategy of offering continuing education credits to physical therapists, chiropractors, and other health care practitioners, bringing even greater growth in enrollment and revenue opportunities.
"In tough economic times, health care practitioners have to make tough decisions about how they spend their dollars and allocate their time. The most powerful thing a company can do in a tight marketplace is become mandatory -- a necessity for all segments of its markets, not just a luxury. NCBTMB credentialing means that Somatic Systems provides this mandatory service for massage therapists across the nation. This then enables Somatic Systems to secure itself just such a position, and to be the only such company in the world doing so using the powerful, proprietary, and un-paralleled Clinical Somatics pain management method," stated Somatic Systems CEO Steven Aronstein. "We expect a dramatically expanded customer base to then spread further awareness of our exciting program, and thus continue to multiply even more new training customers and locations."
This development in the company's training program plays into a larger expansion strategy Somatic Systems is pursuing this year, including the forthcoming television shows about the company and their proprietary Somatics products and services (being aired nationally on WE TV, the Travel Channel, and in syndication later this year). Other efforts in this strategy include expanded aggressive branding campaigns, new websites, public relations campaigns, and multiple books to be published about Somatics in the coming year; as well as exclusive licensure of Clinical Somatics training by the Department of Education, and Masters and Ph.D. accreditation of Somatic Systems' programs (which not only provides even greater notoriety for Somatics Systems' clinical offerings, but also generally enables a training program to charge tuition rates of approximately $25,000 for the same services provided for the company's current $12,000 tuition price).

I like this!! Conservative estimates have placed our real value on the PinkSheets at greater than $5 million (and higher). Even without addressing dillution OR growing the company in any way, this would mean our shareprice should increase 10 times -- and even that alone would be great profit for anyone who invests now.
