PRESCOTT, AZ, Aug 18, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Produce Safety & Security International, Inc. (OTC: PDSC) announces the opening of an interim warehouse facility in Prescott, Arizona, to distribute the US Patented Medic Kleen(R) product and the Spherequat(R) product.
Medic Kleen is a blood and organic stain remover for the medical and dental professions, including clinicians, urgent care facilities, police, fire, school health professionals and first responder personnel. The product is ideal wherever a concern for the presence of HIV, Hepatitis or other viruses may be present in blood and organic fluids. Spherequat is a state-of-the-art line of EPA registered professional cleaners and disinfectants for use in PDSC's Produce and Food Safety Program and through our Distributor Participation Program, for sale to commercial and food service customers. Spherequat is for use on surfaces where food products come in contact.
"We are amazed at the success of our marketing efforts under the direction of Cindy Bassett," stated Karney. "We had planned an orderly introduction of these products in conjunction with the closing of escrow on the 100,000 plus square foot facility in Prescott during the fourth quarter of this year. However, the request for immediate delivery of these products has resulted in our placing orders to Sphere Group for delivery to our Prescott facility in 35 to 45 days. Space limitations will restrict us to an initial trailer load order of combined products, and it is anticipated that we will need to reorder within twenty days of receiving this shipment."
