Medical Services Begins Approval Process in Europe

EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb 17, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Medical Services International Inc., (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has begun the approval process for the VScan rapid test kits in Europe. Based on the interest that has been shown by pharmaceutical companies in many countries in Europe, the Company has begun negotiating with a Company that specializes in filing the appropiate documents with regulatory authorities to get EU (European Union) approval. The Company has been informed that the test data from the United States related to the FDA filings and the test data from the People's Republic of China related to the SDA filings can be incorporated into the filings in Europe therefore reducing the amount of testing required in Europe.
