ooooh ooooh ooooh if the meaning of all those little buys on level II is posted somewhere...please...where is it???
Your broker would have subscription for level 2 that you buy and pay for every month. That's what I have with ameritrade and they charge me 9.99 per month. For pinks go to alphatrade.com. Hope this helps. From one newbie to another. we learn everyday.....

I think I know what your asking. From my understanding, that are no multiples of that. Those #'s are given so that people do not know how much the MM's are selling or buying. Something to do with level 3 I read that in a book somewhere.

An MM can simply refresh the bid order-for example you will see an MM bid/ask for 50 all day-if you actually count the shares sometimes you will notice way more than 50 hit the MM. Refreshing is one way a MM hides the amount they are buying or selling.
