Sparky where are you??? remember you made a bet and said “Then on 04/24/2004 we can check back here and decide who's the analyst and who's the idiot. Deal?” Well it is 4/23/04 and GETC is now .45 and it was .66 when the bet was made…..I guess we now know who the analyst is…..I would have posted a retraction if I was wrong but I will be awaiting your public apology…

Eastcoast, You Sure Sound Like A Know-It-All!
If you're such a blithering expert on the inner most workings of the market in general and GETC in particular, why don't you take Sparky up on a real simple challenge that will indisputably separate the punks from the pros?

Let's each take a hypothetical 100000 share GETC position at the open on Wednesday (03/24/2004), you can short your shares and Sparky will go long.

Then on 04/24/2004 we can check back here and decide who's the analyst and who's the idiot. Deal?

You're quite correct EastCoast, you did win the point-in-time bet; congrats!

But, you conveniently left out that portion of your initial quote wherein you stated that you had shorted ALAN, one of Sparky's other 6 picks.

Citing ALAN was a nice "literary stab," at the time, seeing that it was the only one of Sparky's 7 picks that was negative.

Well ALAN shares, the ones you claim to have shorted, have gone from 85 cents to $ 2.34 and closed last Friuday, 04/23 @ $ 1.58.

It appears the lesson to be learned here is that Sparky was in fact very wrong to label you, or anyone, an idiot, under any circumstances.

But that said, you were just as wrong when questioning Sparky's analytical capabilities simply because you've reached a different conclusion on a particular equity.

In summary, Sparky wishes EastCoast nothing but profitable trading, but stands firmly behind his picks - including GETC, which most Sparky Readers accumulated under 20 cents.

Well Sparky, you are a better man than I expected. You admitted your mistake and I was wrong mentioning Alan. I profess not to question or speak ill of any of your recommendations; your stock picking is quite admirable.
Since we are burying the hatchet, do me favor and check out TFCT (21st Century Technologies Inc.) A couple of members mentioned this stock and I think it has potential, considering the launch of PrizeWise and their existing product line. They have a decent balance sheet, income statement and cash flow, which is encouraging, and the stock is @ $0.029…..
