Anyone holding Barpoint.com until the 17th for the completion of the merger?

I just bought $3,000 worth of this stock at .39. I reviewed the news and it all looks legit. I think that if you don't buy this stock, you hate money.

OK people we closed at .30, hmmmm? Has anyone sold? If so are what price and how much? I am just questioning the liquidity of the stock. Where you able to get out at your requested price? Tomorrow is another day. -

the bid is up to .32 now its going up slowly by tommorrow we should be closer to about .40

So if you own shares on the 17th and sell on the 18th, will your new shares and the dividend just appear in your account when they are paid out?

I don't know how this is going to work. I don't think it will be that simple or that quick. According to today's 8-K filing the dividends and shares are to be available to the transfer agent the following day of the closing date(2.18.2004). How quickly the transfer agent makes this available to the broker is another question. -

i think we will hit 40 cents by the end of the week . the bid stayed at 36 all day and the volume has been lower. i think people that have it alredy are holding.

Oh the difference a few days make. I remember when people on this board were dreaming of this stock up at a dollar, with possibilities of going as high as $4.50. Now we're praying for 40 cents. Ha!

My dollar prediction was wrong Saturn, but can you honestly say that you've gotten a better deal while trading stocks? I ask this in the context of being given additional shares and a cash dividend for doing nothing more than holding until a specific date. BUT......don't sleep on what Fundever can do as a company. You may want to read up on them a taste. Pretty interesting stuff.
