Trades I look for: Stocks with a long uptrend period, never dropping more than 5-10% before going up again Cyclical stocks, where you can buy at some point where it looks like it's back on an upswing. Stocks that drop more than 20-30% in one day after being on a fairly long uptrend, and then riding the wave if it's on its way back up.
PLEASE give your own feedback, or your own analysis... we can all help each other out here.
My current watchlist APN - could be start of a new uptrend, wish I would have seen it a couple days ago though KPA - LT buy, has touched the 50 day MA so now would be a ood time to buy. NG - long uptrend, but almost too long of a UT... slightly risky... but might be a good buy with a tight stop DESC - recently bounced off 50 day MA..could be good ST swing trade RSCR - wish I had bought, looked like it was off to a good start of an UT, had a nice jump today SCO - looks like it could be start of a new UT ILA - same LJPC - I really like this one. I might buy this tomorrow. BIG profit potential, medium risk... LEXR - crossing above the 50 day MA, could be good ST swing
Yes, I had them all already in my Quotetracker the night before, so really they are up even more over the past 2 days... Too bad I didn't buy REDE/RSCR/SCO, each are up like 15% over the last 2 days.. Could still be profitable trades though.
also going to watch IBD NXXI and CPTH which were on SilverRain's list...
I was thinking about how you do your watchlist results... sometimes it's not always as useful to post results the day after.. as you say, sometimes it may take a week or more for them to swing back upward again... so it may be misleading sometimes to people as to the actual performance of picks...

My daily screening watchlists are the ones I post. Since I delete each night, in making up a new one, I only check results just before deleting them - some that are down are kept on the next day's list when it looks like they amy come back.
Evaluating them after only one day can be misleading - evaluating them over a week would be better - but this is impossible for me since I delete them each day. I leave that up to the readers of the lists I make.
