Yep, we have heard it before...To the Moon! But this time it's the real deal.

Check out the Eternal Image website. They just announced a partnership with a European company.

They will soon release audited financials and then apply to the OTCBB and get off the pink sheets.

They have exclusive agreements to distribute products for Major League Baseball, the Vatican, AKC, etc.

Check out ALL the things ETIM has ging for it and you will want to sell the house, wife, kids, etc to get some cash to buy ETIM. [Big Grin]

Oh, they will release A/Fs soon? That's great! I just took out a home equity loan to load up on this puppy! When a pink sheet company says they will release audited financials soon, well, you can take that to the bank. Never seen a pinkie lie about that!

And they want to go to the OTCBB? Damn, I just loaded up shares on my credit card too. Never seen a pinkie claim that they were going to uplist.

Nope, this is definitely the perfect storm! We're all gonna be rich!

Here is the company they just announced the parnership with...

Eternal Image Develops New Name Plate for Athletes to Be Memorialized on Urns
Monday July 2, 2:03 pm ET
Specialty Branded Plaques Will Be Free to Families of Athletes

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced the production of new name plates to recognize former and current professional athletes.

The plaques are black engraved with eternal gold lettering. They will be available to athletes and team employees of Eternal Images' current and future line of sports team urns. Other teams will be offered as products become available. This special engraved plaque can be requested by funeral homes across the country. Eternal Image will provide the specialty plaque at no charge to all athletes' families.

The creation of the new name plates became essential after a Georgia funeral home requested an Eternal Image urn for former New York third baseman, Clete Boyer. Boyer was presumably the first professional athlete to be interred in an Eternal Image product. The company recognized the original gold plaque created for lifelong fans would not be appropriate for athletes or team employees. This required Eternal Image to create a brand new name plate to memorialize athletes for their dedication to the game.

ahem, this company sells REAL PRODUCTS (and seems to sell out of them before they even hit the street).

Oh, and they have REAL LICENSING AGREEMENTS to sell those products from someplace called THE VATICAN and some little sports agency called MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. What about the AKC (American Kennel Club).

Have I made my point yet or at least peaked your interest to do a little homework. Did a lightbulb come on? [Eek!] LOL [Big Grin]

The problem with this stock is there are too many shares out on the market and no audited finances . I'd bet that they are using every bit of capitol they can get their hands on to cover the cost of this stuff and are probably still deep in the red . This is why they are not showing joe public their hand yet . Once they go green , if they get there , they will have no problem showing their hand but that might be 6 months to a year down the road if they make it that long .

Allow me to flip the switch for you. Products, licenses, etc do not matter if the company hsa diluted it into oblivion.

Think of it this way:

If a company is making a billion dollars but they have 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 shares outstanding, the per share price probably ain't all that attractive.

You seeing the light yet?

I think it's a given that the A/F's wo't be green. We know that! If anything we should see a loss from previous years which get better as time progresses. This is still a relatively new company and many of the licensing agreements are recent.

DO NOT EXPECT GREEN! The main thing to remember is that they are willing to do it which in itself is unusual for a small pink.

I can appreciate your optimism, but you're still making a bit of a leap of faith here. They've SAID that they will release AFs. *THAT* is NOT unusual for a pinky. Actually releasing them is unusual. Just be sure to protect yourself and not take what the company says at face value.

If they do release them, then great, but talking about what a great buy this is beings "AFs are coming" is like saying "The Lions are going to be great this year because Jon Kitna said so!"

Yo Stockstar,
You start this thread "To the Moon" and now you are saying "Don't expect green" I don't get it!?!
What is your point?

Posted by PCola77 on :

He means don't expect green on the financial statements. I.e., they will not be profitable, but if/when they release them, it will be a sign that they are moving away from the typical pinksheet BS.

Thanks Cola...Exactly. I'm not saying we won't make money I'm just saying don't expect it to blow through the roof as soon as the A/F's are released.

I'm confident the PPS will rise. I have said that MANY times. I fully expect this to be trading between .02 and .05 in a year or so and that is without any mergers, buyouts, or reverse splits.

In the case the PPS drops on unnexpectant or untimely news I'll buy more at .005. I already have an order in.

Long term , if they don't go bankrupt before then , you are correct . This company will more than likely be a .02-.05 a share company .

Posted by Stockstar69 on :

No A/F's yesterday. No worries, but this may be nearing the end of the .005 era.

May be another small pullback today and until there is news we may stay hovering around this area.

Great plan but I don't think it will get there. I am trying to buy more but everytime we hit about .0053 it goes back up so my buy is missed. If by some chance the PPS does get below .005 I think we would see another fluff PR as we have in the past which always makes everyone feel good and the stock jumps back over .006 for a few weeks. At least that would buy time for the A/F's, then we will see .008, .010, or higher?

Eternal Image, Inc. This is an extension of the original agreement which covers the United States.

"During the last two years we have worked to build a strong relationship with MLB(TM)," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image (EI). "When we approached MLB with the request to add Canada and Puerto Rico to our portfolio, they agreed, as both are baseball strongholds. It is an exciting opportunity for us."

Eternal Image's Striking Art Deco Pet Urn Design Approved for Production by the Cat Fanciers' Association
Friday July 20, 2:30 pm ET
First Shipment Anticipated In 4Q

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that the Cat Fanciers' Association(TM) (CFA) has approved the design of the company's newest product, a pet cremation urn that pays homage to cats. The approval clears the way for Eternal Image to begin the engineering and tooling phases of the production process and the first shipment is anticipated for the end of 2007.
Source: Eternal Image, Inc.

· Eternal Image introduces the new pet urn featuring the Cat Fanciers' Association. (Photo: Eternal Image, Inc.). View Multimedia Gallery

The Egyptian-style art deco design will stand eight inches tall and feature two feline figurines appearing to hold the urn in an upright position. The sculpture is inspired by the reverence the ancient Egyptians had for their cats, many of whom were entombed with royalty in pyramids. Considered the manifestation of the goddess, Bast, according to ancient Egyptian law anyone who killed a cat could themselves be sentenced to death.

"In many ways this is one of the most distinctive, artistic products we have offered to date, and we commend the Cat Fanciers' Association for their partnership in developing this design. We are confident this exclusive design will be exactly what cat owners are looking for to pay tribute to their lost pet," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image.

Owners can have a cat's name engraved on a plaque attached to the urn. In addition, a picture of the pet can be placed on the front of the urn in a photo frame. The face of the urn also features the CFA logo in distinctive black and white lettering.

"Cat owners today feel the same reverence toward their cats that the ancient Egyptians felt in their time, and many have sought a way to honor their pets' memories," said a spokesperson for the Cat Fanciers' Association. "This urn strikes the perfect balance between form and function, and we are pleased that Eternal Image is making it available."

Pet owners have had few options when it came to purchasing an urn or memorial product for their animals. The alternative was to buy a funerary product made for human remains that does not reflect the life of the pet they were honoring. Eternal Image changed this is late 2006 when it released its first pet product, an American Kennel Club(TM) urn for dogs. It was an immediate hit: the first shipment of the AKC urn was more than 50% pre-sold before it reached the U.S.; the reorder has been selling steadily this summer.

Stockstar, I think that within your last point is the thing that you're missing.

This is a real company, I've seen articles about them all over the place (including ESPN.com last summer, I think it was). They have had publicity like many penny stocks can only dream. Yet the price is under .005. Don't you think there's some disconnect there? What do you think is holding it back? Most penny players say "Man, if only people knew about this it would fly". Well, people know about this and it's sputtering along. There's got to be a reason for that, don't you think? If everyone already knows about this one from all the publicity, what could get it moving, in your opinion? Usually getting people aware of the product is what starts a run, but this already has awareness, so what's going to get it moving at this point?

Posted by Stockstar69 on :

PC...EXCELLENT points. I think right now so many people have been burned by the pinks they are automatically running away without thinking twice. Remember the A/F's are a step to an uplisting where combined with the great publicity and real products, we really should take off. This is an easy double if not more one the wheels start turning. Now we are in the start of a locomotive, the wheels are spinning but haven't grabbed the track yet.

Posted by PCola77 on :

Okay, then maybe the only difference between your viewpoint and mine at his point is the audited financials. You seem to be stating for a fact, beyond a shadow of a soubt, that the A/Fs will be out soon (or sooner or later). I'm saying don't believe it until you see it. Not a PR that says they'll be out soon. Not a PR that says they're done. Wait until the actual financials are released. Until then, in my mind they are the same as all the other pinkies.

In fact, feel free to shoot me a PM when they are released, and I'll probably go ahead and put a buiy order in that day. But until then, promises of A/Fs "soon" are nothing more than noise.

WATCH OUT! (LOL) I just noticed American Bulls has ETIM as a Buy-If

ETERNAL IMAGE INC
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a BUY-IF today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 07.11.2007 (9) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0060. Since then ETIM has fallen -18.33% .

A bullish pattern has developed and a BUY-IF alert is issued today. The task is now to confirm the validity of this bullish pattern. We will guide you through this process but the prime star of this game is nobody but you. First you must do your homework. A good starting point may be to keep an eye on after-hours and futures trading to get preliminary hints about the direction of the market. Related news, events, economic data, and the world stock markets should also be closely followed prior to confirmation session.

There are three possible cases of confirmation. You have to follow the next session carefully to check if these cases will hold or not:

The market opens with an upward gap, signaling a bullish sentiment in the first case. Your benchmark will be the opening price. If the prices stay over the benchmark, go long. Any white candlestick with an upward gap is a valid confirmation criterion.

In the second case, the market opens at a level, equal to or below the previous day’s close. The benchmark is that closing price. If prices during the session stay over the benchmark, go long. Any white candlestick closing above the previous day’s close is the second confirmation criterion.

If, however, in both cases, the prices during the session start coming below the benchmark, avoid buying. Sell if you feel a definite tendency in prices to close the day below the benchmark.

The third case of confirmation is rarely observed. The market opens with a big downward gap suggesting a very bearish day, and the day ends with a long white candlestick, but still closing below the previous day’s close. However, such a day satisfies the third confirmation criterion and in this case the closing price of the long white candlestick will be taken as the price of confirmation.

If one of the three confirmation criteria is not fulfilled, or in case of a black candlestick or a doji on the confirmation day, the BUY-IF alert remains valid, however without confirmation and the three confirmation criteria are then sought in the following day. The only exception is the long black candlestick. Any long black candlestick following a BUY-IF alert makes it (the signal) void and invalid.

We do not suggest any new short positions given the bullish alert. The short sellers should consider covering their positions if the market confirms the BUY-IF signal. Otherwise, existing short positions should be carried.

(OTC:ETIM.PK), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image brand name caskets and urns, today announced it has arranged for private placement funding from a New York based private investment firm. "The infusion of more than $1.2 million means we can accelerate our production and fill a growing backlog of orders, and we can continue to work to add new licenses to our roster," said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image. "In addition, we will now be able to meet the next phase of forecasted demand." This investment partnership will prevent a future upset in control of the company. Eternal Image management reports that they have already fielded calls from competitors and investment firms. The Company's legal counsel and SEC advisory counsel strongly suggested reorganizing the current share structure to simultaneously accommodate this funding and protect the Company from a hostile takeover. "Under the current share structure, Eternal Image management controls less than 20% of the total Authorized Shares and the Company as a result is incredibly vulnerable," says Jim Parliament, CFO of Eternal Image. "The Company needs to increase its total Authorized Shares to provide enough Preferred Voting Stock to prevent any unwanted aggressive and predatory action in the open market against the Company," Jim went on to say. The transaction will raise the authorized share level to 5.8 billion from 2.74 billion. Approximately two billion of the newly created stock is Restricted Preferred Voting Stock. This is not counted against the Total Outstanding Shares, and is registered as such that it only comes into play during a hostile takeover or buyout attempt. Much of the remaining shares will be distributed as Restricted stock to the investment firm responsible for this funding, as well as other Eternal Image managers who comprise the Company-held majority. "This private placement investment is timed to help Eternal Image reach self-sufficiency as we begin the process of positioning the company to move to the OTC BB," Clint Mytych continued. "The time to set aside this block of Preferred Voting Stock is now, and Eternal Image is adequately protected to thwart any hostile market activity that may be taken against it." In related news, the company continues to work toward the completion of its financial audit. According to Parliament, the process has included a regular flow of information back-and-forth between the company, its accounting firm and the audit firm. "As anyone who has ever been through an audit knows, it is a process of questions and answers, and it just takes as long as it takes. Everyone's first concern is accuracy. We expect it to conclude shortly." Eternal Image plans to announce the results of the audit by news release and post documentation on its website, , within 24 hours of receipt. About Eternal Image Eternal Image, founded in 2002, is headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI. The company is the first and leading manufacturer and marketer of licensed image funerary products. Currently, the company offers urns and caskets that feature licensed images from Major League Baseball(TM), Precious Moments(R) and the Vatican Library Collection(TM), as well as pet urns featuring the American Kennel Club(TM) and the Cat Fanciers' Association(TM). Well its Aug 1 and PPS is still holding up well considering.

Turn your head for a moment and you may miss the action imo.

Best to all around!

There are new things developing besides the AF's.

Must hold on, I've come this far.

The A/F's are not the main driver of ETIM!

I'm watching for a P/R in the next few days as ther is a lot going on.

Posted by PCola77 on :

Quite a different tune you're singing now that they've stiffed you on them. Wasn't it the AFs that were going to prove that they were on the up and up, and trying to get to a higher exchange, thus worthy of investment?

That's true, what I meant was they are not they main driver as far as people should not be expecting "good" numbers.

I agree that it proves they are on the up and up (for those who have done no D.D. the A/F's is all they trust).

Didn't mean to sound conflicted. [Roll Eyes]

Someone on IHUB posted these. Nice little consolidation of PR (up to this point)...Now, after anyone new to ETIM (or non-believers) take their time to verify these are actual, do you really think the PPS will stay around .005? I for one DO NOT!

Update: Audited Financials Progress

Eternal Image is still actively engaged in the completion of the audit.

The current delay in delivering the audited financial statements is due to the fact that Eternal Image and the CPA firm are reconciling all stock transactions to date - per audit requirements. The numbers have to align between what the Stock Transfer Agent shows as 'booked' shares to what Eternal Image has in their financial statements. Research and reconciliation is in progress due to some older transactions needing some additional research. Eternal Image does not anticipate that this process will take long, and wants to be thorough in its research and reporting. Eternal Image management will keep the investor community updated as details develop.

Eternal Image Completes Audit and Plans ''Up-Listing'' to OTC BB
Wednesday August 15, 9:25 am ET

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image brand name caskets and urns, today announced that it has completed the GAAP Audit of its financial statements for its fiscal years 2004 - 2006. The company also revealed that it will soon commence the process of filing a registration statement on Form 10SB with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This will cause it to become subject to the reporting requirements of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and therefore become a "fully reporting company."
Eternal Image has released the Audited Financials along with the auditors' report and a management discussion of those results on its website (www.eternalimage.net).

The formal audit establishes a benchmark for Eternal Image's reporting and sales, taking into consideration finances for the last three years of operations.

"The completion of the audit is the most important step to date in our path to moving up to the OTC Bulletin Board," said Jim Parliament, CFO, Eternal Image. "It is a very exciting time for us. The audit process was long - probably longer than anyone thought it might be - but that is what sometimes happens to young companies on their first audits. With the audit behind us, we are ready to take our next steps."

Parliament added that Eternal Image expects to file the Form 10SB soon. Sometime thereafter, once it has been reviewed and has cleared comments by the SEC, the company expects to be approved for trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.

Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced that Major League Baseball Properties(TM) has approved the design of the San Francisco Giants licensed urn. The Giants urn will follow the recently approved designs of the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox and New York Mets on the production line.

"The demand for our products has pushed production ahead of schedule. With the approval of the Giants design, the new urn will provide San Francisco fans with a quality product of memorabilia that will last a lifetime," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. "Baseball fans have been calling and sending email expressing their hopes that their specific team's urn will be next into production."

The initial urn line includes eight MLB(TM) teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, Braves, Cubs, Tigers, Phillies and Dodgers). Corresponding caskets are in production for those eight teams and will be available late this year. Caskets featuring the four newest clubs will join the line late in 2007 as well. Urns and caskets featuring the balance of 18 teams will launch in late 2007 and through 2008.

Each Major League Baseball(TM) urn is hand-designed using die-cast aluminum with proprietary clear coat finish and sits atop a Home Plate-shaped base outlined in black. Each also features a baseball display dome at the top in which a favorite collectible baseball can be presented. MLB(TM) caskets are crafted from Eternal Image's proprietary composite and decorated with various woods and metals. Like the urns, each casket is instantly recognizable for the team after which it is designed. The supple interior fabric features the team logo and colors for the pillow and fabric trim.

Too many variable now. Good news from ETIM on the A/F's and Uplist but mixed with market uncertainty, until Friday when it went crazy. Looks like I'm back to partial flips between 5-10% per week (enough for lunch money).

Still holding 1-million shares long term though.

Eternal Image's "The Last Word Vol 1. Issue II - Summer, 2007

A message from Clint Mytych, CEO

As you read this we are completing plans for our new trade show exhibit, which will be unlike any exhibit ever built for a funeral industry trade show. Let’s just say it is in keeping with our progressive and industry leading reputation. We will debut the exhibit at the National Funeral Directors Expo (October 7-10) in Las Vegas. Word has it that the funeral home distributors that have displayed our products at regional shows this summer have been flooded with interest; we expect our new 20’x30’ booth to attract quite a bit of attention as well.

In the meantime, a great deal has been happening here, from the completion of our audit (see our web site for details: www.eternalimage.net) to the recent announcement concerning the formation of Eternal Image Europe, plus our newest product line extensions. We continue to seek new licenses and hope to have one or more special announcements in the coming months.

Read below for more news and check the website for continuous updates (and news release archives.) Thanks to all of you who believe in our mission! - Clint

A Lesson in Timing: Jim Parliament talks about the audit process

This week we reached a major milestone; the completion of our audit which is a prerequisite to file the 10SB. The audit was a very involved process. The most frequent question we received from shareholders was, “Why did it take so long?” The short answer is that an audit takes as long as it takes. The auditors have prescribed steps that the company being audited does not control.

Here’s the long answer: more than 2000 people hours were logged on the audit by Eternal Image, our supporting CPA firm and our auditing firm. During the course of the audit, EI responded to hundreds of questions regarding our company and our financial statements. This included responding to emails and phone calls while providing source documentation (some more than two years old) for a great many transactions. This kind of examination is a very time-consuming process - one that quite frankly took us by surprise. But as we studied more about what other companies have gone through, we learned this is not uncommon.

Auditing has changed tremendously over the past decade. With the high profile collapse of a litany of corporate giants, Congress and the SEC have raised the "audit bar" significantly. The independent audit process is very involved and is governed by the PCAOB - Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. The audit examines in detail the financial statements to obtain reasonable assurance as to whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement (whether from errors, fraudulent financial reporting, misappropriation of assets or violation of laws or regulations that are attributable to the entity or to acts by management or employees.) The audit also examines and tests evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements, as well as internal company controls.

Why all of the rigor? To protect the shareholders. The completion of an audit signals whether shareholders can have reasonable assurances that there are no material misrepresentation in a company's financial statements, and confirms that there are no material weaknesses in internal controls. We appreciate our shareholders’ patience during this project. We believe with the successful conclusion of this audit project, our shareholders can have reasonable assurances that Eternal Image is reporting its finances correctly, has proper internal controls in place to protect the shareholders, and is a company that has tremendous growth potential. - Jim

Baseball without Borders

Major League Baseball™ urns continue to sell just about as fast as we can make them! Investors often ask us if urn sales are region-specific and we are pleased to report they are not. Team urns sell without geographic boundaries. A funeral home in Atlanta might purchase a Yankees urn while a one in Kansas City might order a Tigers urn. By opening day 2008 we anticipate that 20 or more team urns will be available; maybe more. (All will be available by the close of 2008.) Our newest design, for the San Francisco Giants, was just approved by MLB™ and has been rushed into production.

We’re often asked “which urns sell best?” so here are the standings going into playoff season:

1. Yankees

2. Red Sox

3. Cubbies.

Stay tuned to this race!

Have you heard? Before he passed away earlier this summer, Clete Boyer, former third baseman for the Yankees (1959-66; major leaguer from 1955-1971), asked his friend to make sure he obtained an official Yankees urn for his remains. This request (which we helped fill through a distributor) sparked a creative idea: special engraving plates for MLB players, coaches and officials. The plates are black and etch out gold – and are available from our office.

Product News: Caskets are Coming!

It’s true: look for the Vatican Library Collection™ and Major League Baseball™ caskets to debut at the NFDA Expo in October. Our first Precious Moments® urn – a proprietary figurine design available nowhere else – will also debut. We will also anticipate to preview the new AKC™ and CFA™ Garden Stone products at the show as well.

Just for Shareholders

Want to display your confidence in ETIM? You will soon be able to purchase ETIM coffee mugs, t-shirts and rings that say “ETIM Shareholder” and buttons that allow you to show off your commitment (5 Million Shareholder; 10 Million Shareholder, etc.) Watch our website for information and ordering details in the coming weeks

You've got to be kidding me; Only in sub-penny land. I hope Stockstar69 will post a picture of himself wearing his new "ETIM Shareholder" t-shirt and matching ring.

I was considering playing the hype leading into the new endorsement announcement but everything I read about ETIM reeks of unprofessionalism. My intuition screams not to touch this stock but you go ahead and make your own decisions with your own money. I hope ETIM makes you rich.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products such as caskets and urns, today announced it has executed an agreement to design, manufacture and market a line of Star Trek(TM) branded funeral products. The line will include collector-quality urns, caskets, memorials and vaults. The international agreement encompasses the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Korea and Japan.

"These licensed-image Star Trek products offer true fans a unique expression of their commitment to the franchise. For many years fans have asked for these types of products - or made their own - and we believe the Star Trek audience will embrace the idea which will create a very strong demand," added Mytych.

Eternal Image has begun the design process and expects to begin shipping urns and caskets to distributors in late 2007.

Building Q, a licensing and marketing firm headquartered in Medford, New Jersey, represented Eternal Image in the acquisition of the license.

That news made it to Germany as it was also mentioned in a German newspaper.

Be prepared to sit on this a long time...

Although this is a "cool" idea, the reality is that with just 2 million in projected sales it will be a long journey to the moon. Take away the costs of running this biz and that won't leave much profit. I don't know how much BUY BACK they can do on that small of a profit...

Just food for thought.

I bought 300,000 shares and threw it in my daughters account, maybe it will make her rich, 20 years from now...

Thanks for the 300,000K...That should be a great investment as your daughter gets older. Long term, I mean like 5-10 years from now this stock really has possibilities. Hard for me to think Penny stock and long term at the same time but this one is changing how the game is played. [Big Grin]

well I look at it this way...

All companies had to start somewhere.

My account is 75% risk stocks (day trading) I could care less if I have any money when I die.

My son and daughters account are a different story...

50% long term (conservative stocks) 30% day trading and 20% stocks like etim, vspc, cypw etc... (real gamble stocks) I usually buy between 300,000 to 500,000 shares of these and they will stay in there no matter what happens (until she is 28) I figure maybe just maybe he or she will luck out and one or two will go over a buck by the time he/she is ready to cash in.
Most guys have hobbies that cost them thousands of dollars a year, mine is collecting the long shots...

Posted by Stockstar69 on :

That actually looks like a good plan. Like you said, if only 1 goes to a buck the kid (s) will be well off.

Good Luck!

Eternal Image Enters College & University Market Through Agreement with Collegiate Licensing Company
Thursday October 4, 11:57 am ET
Some of the First Licensed Schools Include Purdue, Southern Methodist, West Point, LSU, Arkansas, Texas Tech and Syracuse

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products such as caskets and urns, today announced it has executed an agreement to design, manufacture and market a line of university branded funeral products across the United States. The line will include collector-quality urns, caskets, markers/memorials and vaults.

"This agreement came about because we were called by a university that wanted to expand its offerings to its alumni with a higher quality product and had learned about Eternal Image through the marketing of some of our other lines," said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image. "Our subsequent discussions with Collegiate Licensing Company expanded the opportunity to other colleges and universities, and here we are with several licensing agreements that form the bedrock of what we anticipate will be a long-term relationship with institutions of higher learning."

Universities rely on alumni investment through donations and the marketing of memorabilia to help fund operations, scholarships and endowments. It is estimated that the retail market for collegiate licensed products will surpass $3 billion in 2007. Royalties from the sale of these diverse products support many university initiatives including scholarships, operations and athletic departments.

"The market for collegiate licensed products has expanded a great deal over the past ten years," said Missy Peterson, CLC's Non-Apparel Marketing Coordinator. "It has been gratifying to see the growth in product offerings and distribution channels. For many individuals, the collegiate experience is the foundation of their post-graduate life and their affinity for their university lasts a lifetime - and beyond."

EI expects the university category to grow greatly in the coming years.

"Colleges are seeking to offer graduates high-quality products and professional services, and we have the expertise they need," said Mytych. "Not only do we expect our relationship with CLC to expand, we are speaking with schools - some of them major universities - that do not currently have representation but are interested in offering similar products to their own alumni."

Building Q, a licensing and marketing firm headquartered in Medford, New Jersey, represented Eternal Image in the acquisition of the license.
