InRob Tech Ltd. Remotely Controlled D9 Bulldozer to be Used in Daily Military Operations

("InRob") (IRBL, Trade), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), today announced that it has completed the sale of its first remotely controlled Caterpillar D9 bulldozer.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has a special robotics unit of its engineering corps that is responsible for the operation of InRob Tech's D9 bulldozer. The remotely controlled armored D9 is being used in sensitive operations and border locations where human lives are in danger, for such tasks as clearing landmines, mounting sand barriers, building fortifications, and opening routes to armored fighting vehicles and infantry.
Ben Tsur Joseph, InRob Tech's CEO, says "We are pleased to have completed our first sale of the remote control system for D9 after finishing the trials. It is a vote of confidence of the IDF in our capabilities to produce superb quality in such a complex application. Having made this sale to the IDF gives us the endorsement we need to market the D9 bulldozer to militaries around the world."
For example, the U.S. Army has purchased several D9 armor kits from Israel and used them to produce similarly fortified D9s. They have been successfully put to use for similar purposes both in the Gulf War and in Iraq. This gives InRob further reason to be optimistic on the development of this market.
The first system was developed under contract for approximately $170,000 and it is expected that follow up orders will be made in the coming months at a unit price of over $100,000.

I bought 5000*0.30 Dec 7 - half my funds. Rode bare-knuckled to 0.15 and regret not pulling the trigger on 5000 more then. Glad to see recovery to over 0.40 on steady volume. Wonder if the MM were trying to shake people after the positive news Dec 12. Looks like we will rest here for a few days before either moving up to 0.45 ot back down to 0.30. I am in long-term (or 3.00, whichever comes first), hoping for some news of a new puchase contract by this summer to get us over 1.00.

Any function that a driver can perform in the vehicle can now be remotely managed by an operator at distances of up to 1.8 miles. Moreover, in the same way that a driver can see the dashboard and in-vehicle dials and meters, the operator can see all these parameters on his control unit. This enables operators to manage the vehicle with or without eye contact, depending on field conditions.
In addition, other add-on systems such as observation, transmission or video can be installed on the vehicle and operated by InRob Tech's same remote control system.
Hummers are highly common vehicles for several different field operations used by military forces around the world. This thing will move once they sign some contracts, as more and more IEDs are utilized in different hotzones the need for this type of vehicle will only increase. The militay tests are a solid signal of things to come.

Building upon InRob Tech's existing remote control technologies, the Company has launched the development of applications intended to solve everyday operations on tractors. InRob will install a low-level control (LLC) system on the tractor, an electronic system that enables the operator to remotely drive the tractor.
The initiative for the creation of this system comes from business development discussions that the Company has held with various contacts around the world.
A sophisticated navigation system will be built on this LLC foundation. The system will be able to upload way points that dictate the exact route of the tractor, which guide the tractor autonomously from point to point. In addition, as the tractor is driven by the operator, the system can memorize and store the route for future autonomous use. Several routes can be stored in the system, and the operator will even be able to upload new routes while the tractor is in operation, enabling the operator to choose the best route for the tractor at any given time. Just found a piece on MSNBC (currently avaialbe on MSN.com video) on Irobot (IRBT) mentioning use for dealing with IEDs in Iraq. This could explain the high IRBL volume, but strangely IRBT has normal volume and is down....

InRob Tech Realizes 30 Percent Growth in 2005 Revenues

(IRBL, Trade), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), today announced that it has posted a 31% increase in total revenues for the year ended 2005 over the prior year.
The Company has significantly improved its gross margin from 16.4% in 2004 to close to 41% in 2005, while other expenses remained basically the same as the prior year. As a result, InRob Tech saw positive net income for the year 2005 of over $100,000, following a loss of just under $350,000 in 2004.
"Our heavy investments in research and development over the last few years are now beginning to pay off," says InRob Tech CEO, Mr. Ben Tsur Joseph. "We knew that 2005 was the year that we would turn the tide from operating loss to operating profits and positive net income. Now, our sites are set on 2006 being a banner year for the Company, both in sales and profitability.
"I have stated on several occasions that we are now allocating a major part of our budget for business development efforts," adds Joseph. "This began in mid-2005, so we expect to see the impact of our marketing activities already in 2006. This sale is a result of joint effort by InRob and Israel Military Industries Ltd. (``IMI''). This is one of the first sales generated by the collaboration between InRob and IMI. Ben Tsur Joseph, CEO of InRob stated, ``This is the first major stepping stone in our relationship with IMI and we anticipate many more in the upcoming weeks, months and years.''
InRob announced that it has completed the testing stage of its proprietary RCWS. In this testing phase, excellent results were obtained for firing in motion, system stability and tactical accuracy of target elimination. Already in development are additional software configurations to the RCWS that enhance simplicity of field maintenance and provide an added layer of versatility.
With its proprietary On-Screen Display capabilities, the RCWS gathers and displays operational data and critical feedback from the weapon station and its immediate vicinity. This allows the RCWS to be operated as a stand-alone unit. As a result, the RCWS offers more built-in capabilities without the need to hook-up a mission computer for critical data.

InRob Launches New Mini-Tractor with Israel Defense Forces Monday July 10, 4:15 pm ET
LAS VEGAS, July 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- InRob Ltd. (``InRob'') (OTC BB:IRBL.OB - News), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), today announced that the IDF (http://www1.idf.il) has introduced the Keter Paz, InRob's new mini-tractor, into operational use.
The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) is Israel's national military, considered one of the world's strongest and most technologically sophisticated armies in the world. Its mission is to defend the existence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state of Israel, to protect the inhabitants of Israel and to combat all forms of terrorism which threaten the daily life. The ever-expanding cooperation between the IDF and the security industries, which goes back to the early days of the State of Israel, is the main power behind the IDF's high technological superiority.
The Keter Paz, InRob's new remote controlled mini-tractor designed for bomb and mine disposal missions, was unveiled at an annual IDF conference on devices for its special units. A special television feature on the machine was also broadcast on prime time Israeli television. The new mini-tractor is expected to enter into full service in the IDF in the next few months.
Keter Paz is one of three remotely operated tractors developed by InRob in response to IDF's growing need to perform a range of missions without exposing soldiers to risks of injury. The Keter Paz, which clears mines and open paths, is operated by a remotely located operator and is expected to be used by IDF's Yahalom unit, that specializes in mine clearance and robot operations.
This remotely controlled mini-tractor is equipped with several accessories, including a five-section robotic arm, a set of cameras that provides the operator with a full view of the machine, and a metal cultivator that allows the machine to rake mines buried in the ground.
``The aim of this machine is to minimize risks to soldiers when mines must be cleared. The Keter Paz can be deployed ahead of the troops, while the operator sits several hundreds yards away and performs precise and effective mine clearing operations without any danger to the forces,'' explains Ben Tsur Joseph, InRob's CEO.
