hey MXPx....

will MRKL have another run.... looks like it is neaed back to .46 range....

Will we expect a run soon????

Hey Damian we will have to wait until Monday and see but it sure does look like it might be heading back to that .46 cent range soon. Mrkl's run was from the news it put out about the record earnings(unaudited) for the month and most inmportantly it was from investors jumping out of UGHO and into MRKL that gave it the pump. I made a little off the run but bought back in the next day and still holding. From right now(Sat. night) I believe MRKL will consolidate somewhere into the .60's then run again somewhere into the 2 dollar range.

That is just my personal view and I really hate trying to determine what a stock will do next but I should have a better idea of what MRKL will do next once the market opens up Monday morning.

But anyways as news and additional contracts are released I believe that will dictate the share price.

Best of Luck

Anybody still playing this one.
Not a short term play.
I like their management's thinking
with cross development between their products - Gas Plasma Antenna, Chemical detectors - and their acquisition of EOIR systems.

Also they may be a big player in Homeland Security for Border patrols with the US-VISIT program and as a sub-contractor for Accenture.

Markland Technologies Inc. Subsidiary, EOIR Technologies, Contributes to Preliminary First Quarter Revenues (Un-audited) of $15.75M; Active Contract with the U.S. Army Night Vision Laboratories
Thursday October 14, 12:00 pm ET

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., Oct. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Markland Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB:MRKL.OB - News) (http://www.marklandtech.com), an integrated homeland security company, announced that on a preliminary un-audited basis, it expects revenue of approximately $4,800,000 for the month of September 2004 and approximately $15,750,000 for its fiscal first quarter ended September 30,2004. This represents a significant increase year over year. A substantial majority of this increase in fiscal first quarter revenues is attributable to the recent acquisition of its wholly owned subsidiary EOIR Technologies Inc. by Markland.

Its expertise has particular impact within the DOD and Homeland Security market place.

Markland CEO/Chairman Robert Tarini stated that, ``The Markland business model is working well and the business segment managers are working to create additional organic revenue growth. We are actively exploring additional synergistic corporate acquisitions specifically in the areas of bio-terrorism and intelligence gathering.
