i swear these programmed trading systems are almost impossible to beat. they were taking it up when CNBC posted the news.. the study was negative

An "over-reaction today" according to CNBC on the sell-off.

Hopin' earnings beat estimates at least a little. I am still holding a few shares, still in the black for the day.

Nah, I stay away from any earnings plays, because whatever I think the price action will be, it does the opposite (although I guess I could pull a Costanza and do the opposite of all my instincts...).
