Further validation will be carried out on these samples. The purpose of obtaining these samples is to collect a sufficient number of samples of known mineralized areas to compare these to known areas that are not mineralized with gold or other metals that we might want to pursue. MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2005--EKWAN-X (OTCBB:EKWX - News) is pleased to announce that the board of directors of Ekwan Techno logy Corporation Inc. ( a private technology company which provides HYPERSPECTRAL TECHNOLOGY to various clients in a variety of industries ) has approved the granting of exclusive rights to it's technology in the states of California, Colorado and Utah in exchange for the issue of three hundred million shares of Ekwan-x and a 20% N.P.I. in any mineral discovery made in these areas.
This will give Ekwan-x the exclusive use of this technology in the most favorable areas of the U.S.
Our initial target area, the Virginia City mining district of Nevada, is one of the most prolific mineral producing regions in the world and is home to the famous Comstock Lode. Samples collected previously, are being used to refine the definition of this target area for further follow up work. The purpose of this sample collecting is to identify marker minerals associated with known economic mineral deposits. Nice break out on the charts today. With a market cap of just over a million dollars it wouldn't take much for the gold bugs to take this thing on a nice run.
Its fairly common for stocks like this to attract attention after a big sector move. The gold stocks have had such a big move people are looking for the obsure stocks for opportunities. I like the risk/reward here, but its still a very speculative stock.

That spike to .001 was so quick it caught some longs by surprise. Guess nobody had their offers in above the market so we sold back down. I'd like to see some follow through tomorrow with at least 40 million shares or that spike will look like a one day abberation.

The stock made the pinksheets most active today on good volume and numerous trades. Originally planned on swing trading this, but think its worth holding some for the survey results given the risk/reward at these prices. If they hold to the business plan we could see some results in a matter of months. Though I never hold my breath on business plan time lines. I like the fact they don't use an IR firm (the CEO gave out his phone number in a radio interview), and they spelled out the share structure, and expected changes in that structure, in a PR.
Here's a link to a radio broadcast the CEO did about a year ago. It helps explain their technology. You can skip this if you read the business plan as its more comprehensive and gives timelines and financial info.

The Lapon Canyon gold prospect in Mineral County, Nevada, held by World Ventures Inc. of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada is being evaluated as a possible joint venture opportunity. The Lapon Canyon prospect has three old historic adits and at one time produced and milled high grade vein-derived production. The property has been inactive for many years and is described in detail in a NI 43-101 compliant report filed by World Ventures Inc. (WVNTF -- BB) on both SEDAR and EDGAR data filing systems. The old workings have significant exposures of gold bearing quartz-carbonate vein material that present an attractive exploration target for the possible discovery of direct-shipping material grading better than one ounce per ton gold.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2006--EKWAN-X (PINK SHEETS:EKWX - News) continues to increase its data compilation for a large scale mineral exploration program planned for the State of Nevada. EKWAN-X has opened discussions with other mineral exploration companies in the Southern regions of Nevada in order to refine our data base. This will provide more insight into detecting marker minerals that would enhance our capability to detect potentially economic mineral deposits from airborne surveys.
EKWAN-X is using a sophisticated new technology known as hyperspectal imaging. This technology can produce detailed mineral exploration maps at great speeds.
