Auto parts company,Dana Corp. everybody has heard of them. Long, storied company history. Huge supplier to the automotive industry. Filed BANKRUPCY a few months ago. I bought some just before and just after they filed. I averaged out at $1.46. I was patient for a few months and sold yesterday for an easy 10G profit.
I for one do not believe that this company is going under, and I do not expect them to be at these levels for ever. I believe they averaged PPS of 18$ before Bankrupcy news. Today closed at $2.62. IMO they are going to be a steady rise back up after the market recovers from it's latest slaughter. Invest at your own risk [Smile]

FYI.. The 5th letter of a ticker symbol if it is a "Q" that means the company in Bankrupt.... and...when it comes out of the bankrupt status it is givin a new ticker by the courts.... so a company then gets to resell all of its shares again.... the people who own the stock b4 it comes out of bankrupt status..... looses all their money..... the old stock becomes worthless... wasnt sure you knew the danger u were in with a "Q" status stock

I knew, it will be a while before they are out of Bankrupcy, good for some gains until then.

Great gains on Qs for those that trade them. Lots of opportunity. Spot the activity created when the fund suits step in to unwind their short positions and you have a great daytrade with reruns. $2.62 is high, though, slaughter may continue.

Hitman, not all Qs go down that way - losing all your money, I mean. I've made good gains on warrants from Qs, but it is definitely a long-term hold.

I picked this one up the day they announced bankruptcy and sold a week later for a nice profit. I still hold some free shares but plan to offload them sometime soon.

lol

Hitman, is it true, or just an old cb story, about JB Hunt drivers? Goes something like this... JB Hunt drivers are not allowed to 'cb chat' with others because they must 'maintain the epitomy of professionality' - and will be fired if they break the rules.

I've always wanted to know the truth about that.

In fact... JB Trucks come with installed cb hook ups in the dash - all we do is hook out cb 2 it.
Trucks are governed to 62 or 65 mph so we get lots of other drivers complaining cause we cant go fast..... but it works good for me .. i never have 2 worry bout a speeding ticket [Smile] Glad u asked

So you hear the CBers who respond to that tale when they say something like... 'No, they're all a bunch of ...'

ROFLMAO

Thank you, hitman, you really made my day. I've been wanting to know about that for 15 years!
