Oh man, as if things couldnt get any worse. I talked about this in another thread, but felt it is worth its own. Black Panthers with nightsticks at polling stations intimidating white voters and they get nothing for it. Even civil rights attorneys are furious over this.

"How does it feel to be ruled by a black man, cracker" one of the black panthers says.

Of course, we have Eric Holder at the AG so what do you expect.

Whistle blower says the DOJ says no voting rights case is going to be prosecuted if the defendant is black and the victim is white. Obama needs to enforce the voting rights act. He wants to make sure illegal aliens can vote through blanket amnesty AKA "immigration reform", but he wont take a stand in public about this.

More crap from Obama as usual

Just keep an eye on the whistle blower, and he is talking about how the Justice Department plans on influencing the next election. I like how the Obama admin cherry picks what laws to enforce based on who will vote for them. This is far worse than the Bush administration.

so just running google to see what's new on this case this pops up:

Report: DOJ Drops Case Against Ted Stevens

Attorney General Eric Holder will drop all charges pending against former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, according to an exclusive report from National Public Radio Wednesday.

Holder decided to drop the charges against Stevens mostly because of the problems caused by federal prosecutors, NPR reports, adding, the judge in the case has repeatedly criticized the lawyers for "prosecutorial misconduct," and ultimately found the attorneys in contempt. The Department of Justice replaced their team of lawyers, but Holder, fearing more ugly hearings, "pulled the plug," NPR reports.

The charges against Stevens stem from failing to properly report gifts totaling up to $250,000 on his senate disclosure form. Stevens, who maintained his innocence, lost his re-election bid in 2008, which NPR reports is partly the reason Holder is dropping the charges, along with the ex-senator's age, 85.

i'm trying to remeber if Stevens is white... i know he's not a Democrat... must be a fluke huh?

OK, one thing that was not very clear before but i now see is that the case that was dropped is "only" a civil case, there was no criminal charges filed?

secondly? the case was dismissed without prejudice, which means it can be re-opened any time...

in any case? the defendant never responded to teh suit, i assume they were served and just threw the paperwork away?

OK, so the DOJ did obtaina restrainng order against one Defendant Minister King Samir Shabazz prohibiting him from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of an open polling place on any Election Day in the City of Philadelphia or from otherwise violating Section 11(b).....

apparently he is the only one that was carrying weapon....

apparently it was the Bush administration (not Obam or Holder) who determined not to file criminal charges... sheeesh another tempest in the teapot...

i'm still waitng for one voter to come forward and claim they were intimdated from voting. that's the real case, and if/when they do the case can be re=opened cuz there was no prejudice attached to the dismissal...

where's the outrage here?

A jury convicted Stevens last fall of seven counts of lying on his Senate disclosure form in order to conceal $250,000 in gifts from an oil industry executive and other friends. Stevens was the longest-serving Republican in the Senate. However, he lost his bid for an eighth full term in office just days after he was convicted. Since then, charges of prosecutorial misconduct have delayed his sentencing and prompted defense motions for a new trial.

In a move first reported by NPR, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said he has decided to drop the case against Stevens rather than continue to defend the conviction in the face of persistent problems stemming from the actions of prosecutors.

"After careful review, I have concluded that certain information should have been provided to the defense for use at trial," Holder said in a statement Wednesday. "In light of this conclusion, and in consideration of the totality of the circumstances of this particular case, I have determined that it is in the interest of justice to dismiss the indictment and not proceed with a new trial."

U.S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan set an April 7 hearing on the motion to dismiss the case.

Im not sure what that has to do with voter intimidation by a racist hate group.

Glass, if a militant black panther was standing in front of where you go to vote in Mississippi with a nightstick what would you do? Im sure some here would encourage it saying its some form of racism to question why weapons and black panthers are hanging out at polling places.

LOL, you are asking about MS voting issues?

you don't want to go there cash, you really don't...

i can find you hundreds of cases that are actually done by people in uniforms and wearing guns... only they aren't black cash.... and they don't get prosecuted either... they don't get prosecuted because they are the Sherrifs and his deputies, and they are at all the polls. I had to laugh the other day when relentless said you can just vote the sherriff out... you can't even find people to run against most of 'em...

in fact? only three cases have even been prosecuted under this statute..

and once again? i will point out to you that it was the Bush DOJ that decided not to file criminal charges, this was a civil case that was dropped, and quite frankly civil cases don't mean jackchit.

I was gonna say...

just walk away and motion a sheriff over--and keep walking. Come back when the smoke clears.
