TUNICA, Miss. -- A Georgia man is charged with assault for driving his car through the glass doors of Tunica's Gold Strike Casino in Mississippi and doing doughnuts in the lobby.
Authorities say no one was injured during the Monday morning joyride.
Tunica County sheriff's deputies are holding Robert Leon White, of Ringgold, Georgia, without bond.
White is charged with seven counts of aggravated assault, assault on a law officer, reckless driving, disorderly conduct, failing to comply, and disturbing the peace.
Security guards stepped in to pull people out of the way of the vehicle and held White until the Sheriff's Department arrived.
Casino spokeswoman Mary Cracchiolo says that once the car came to a stop, White remained in the car and waited for the authorities.
It remained unclear yesterday why White did it.
Cracchiolo says White had been at Horseshoe Casino just before the crash and had also been at the Gold Strike's poker tables earlier in the evening.
Was he playing a Banjo? or maybe a juice harp? or Fiddling while the Casino burned?
Or maybe a bad batch of Moonshine? or maybe the revenuer's were a chasing the good ole boy...
Must be a simple and logical reason..#$%^&*&^

Or maybe " God made me do it " might work on a jury down there...It worked for the Healthsouth CEO.........Oh, wait a minute, he just stuffed the pass around plates in churches in the area he was on trial in..
