Saudi Prince Buys Large Share of Fox News 16:55 Sep 25, '05 / 21 Elul 5765
(IsraelNN.com) Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal has purchased 5.46 percent of the Fox corporation, according to Gulf Daily News, raising concern that the conservative Fox News may soften its anti-terror stance due to the views of the new shareholder.
Al-Waleed, the nephew of the late Saudi King Fahd, was in the news when he visited the World Trade Center's remains just after the September 11th attacks and offered then-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani a $10 million check for relief efforts. Al-Waleed then released a statement blaming US foreign policy and support for Israel for the attacks.
Giuliani returned the prince's check with a statement that, "There is no moral equivalent for this attack. The people who did it lost any right to ask for justification when they slaughtered . . . innocent people ... Not only are those statements wrong, they're part of the problem."

i remember that after 9/11. and the saudis have it right. Supporting one religious group in a fight with another is always bad news, and in our case brings this fight to our soil in the form of terrorism. Any time you listen to osama or any other terrorist, they always mention this israel connection. But government officials quickly dismiss the claims and talk about how they are attacking our freedom.

Something to think about. If we had not helped Britian during WW2. Just stayed out, Hitler would have prevented this Gaza Strip, West Bank thing from happening. But the Saudis are not our friends. Never have been, never will be. Regardless of what happens with Iseral. We give millions to the Saudis, just like we do Iseral.

Rupert Murdoch is a US citizen now ain't he? didn't he have to swear in to buy the rest of the Fox network affiliates?? there was some threshold he reached that required it (at the time, who knows might be done away with by now?)
it was interesting to me that Australia is the only coalition member where the controlling party won their most recent elections without any trouble( or so it was reported) i wonder how much influence Rupert still has at "home"

Truth be known, we are proably all mostly foreign owned.......................
Bond... Hitler declared war on us because we declared war on Japan. After we cut off their supplies we were selling them. Which brought on Pearl Harbor. Germany had been sinking merchants in the north atlantic all along. Britian and Russia would have defeated Germany by themselves, although it would have taken longer... We went in two fold. To stop Japan and not let Russia defeat Germany by itself........................
