PHOENIX, April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Motion DNA Corporation (Pink Sheets: MTDX - News), has by a majority vote agreed that it is in the best interest of the company and its shareholders to formalize the acquisition offer made by Formula 51-2, LLC. After meeting on Thursday, representatives of both companies agreed upon a price of $3.125 for each share of the company. Two members of the board approved of the acquisition, while the third member voted in favor of pursing other suitors.
Maybe this is a dumb question but if each share is being bought by Formula 51-2 for $3.125 shouldn't we all be buying this stock. It is at $1.76 right now...which means each share you bought you'd make $1.365. Am I missing something here?

Well, I have asked myself that same question.
I asked myself that question when MTDX was 1.10 and when I checked a few minutes later, it had popped 30%+. I missed it.
Don't know why the reaction is delayed on this one. But I'll betcha it pops 50% when you're not looking.
Who knows why things go like they do sometimes?
It does seem like a no brainer - and the company is even solid, if you look at all of the recent news releases. Really on a roll.
Make your own decisions, is all I can say.

Yes, I would like to hear some comments from some people 'in the know' explaining how the price hasn't surged yet. It should be popping 80% as we speak.
And good news accompanying the buyout price to boot!

my guess is that the deal could still not go and investors are playin it safe...nothing like a run and then finding out the deal is bad.. JMO

I appreciate your feedback. I don't think the deal is going bad though - MTDX has too much going on right now.
You never know though. Close only counts in horseshoes.
The initial price of buyout was $2+ Now it's $3+ after a re-evaluation.
That looks pretty positive. To me, MTDX is worthy hold at this time.

In my opinion - MTDX really IS going to make a move. This is either a lack of PR, delayed reaction, or something strange.
Seldom have I ever seen a buyout price posted like this, and the price not jump.

I still say something is going to happen with this stock. A buyout at appx $3.50 PPS when present PPS is $1.65 -- plus news releases in a timely manner.
Just radar it.
Note: I do own this stock. Just passing along the info.

Well, you just have to own the shares in time to receive a vote. Even if you bought after the vote, you would get the pps.
I can't answer the 'why' question. I personally think that it's a PR thing or something. It's like everyone is ignoring it, and then all of a sudden the light bulb will come on.
This stock should run to at least 2.90+ --- don't know when, but who in their right mind would sell right now at this price?
