RushNet Inc. Enters Into Agreement to Purchase Chicago Beverage Distributor Business Wire - August 04, 2006 2:26 PM ET
RushNet, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RSHN), the Chicago-based marketing company for Rush Beverage Co. and brand owner of e-water(TM), announces the signing of a Letter of Intent to Purchase Garden Beverage, Inc. Garden is an established, privately held specialty beverage distributor based in Chicago with over 2000 retail accounts.
Garden Beverage, founded in 2003 and has grown exponentially since its inception. The distributor projects 2006 sales to exceed $5.4 million and its customer base of over 2000 accounts is growing. Garden Beverage's distribution encompasses the Metro-Chicago market and extends into Northwest Indiana - distributing over 12 brands (62 items), with Arizona Tea as its flagship.
Under the terms of the agreement, RushNet enters into a 90 day due diligence period with Garden Beverage, wherein the company's financials are assessed along with operations and sales strategies. During this period, Rush also determines the synergies that can be leveraged using Garden's distribution of Rush's present brands to their captive audience.
RushNet plans to incorporate Ginseng Rush(R), Ginseng Rush XXX(TM), Rush Cola(TM) and e-water(TM) into the Garden Beverage system throughout the due diligence period. The strategy allows RushNet to develop new DSD (Direct Store Distribution) customers and refine the sales and marketing programs so they can be replicated nationally. RushNet also sees great potential for introduction of its single use energy supplement products, through Garden with their C-Store and Gas Station customer base.
President & CEO of RushNet, Inc. Bob Corr remarks: "We feel this was always the direction we wanted to take, but could not find the right fit until we found Garden, and we've been watching them for six months. Distribution is the key to growth, success and longevity in the beverage industry. Controlling your distribution is controlling your destiny. This is the paradigm that is proven in this industry over and over, most recently with Hansen Beverage's success story. Hansen's (HANS) built their distribution in their own backyard (California) and expanded nationally. The rest is history as they've grown to over $350 million in sales and with a share price in the $40 range. Our plan is to do the same, starting with the Chicago market. Chicago is our hometown and we plan to develop it as our launching point." This is a significant milestone in the company's future, as well as bonanza for our stockholders.
The purchase of Garden Beverage gives RushNet, Inc. access to the large and rapidly growing Chicago Hispanic market, and it intends to leverage its recent Mexican distribution success here with its array of beverages. See today's Chicago Tribune's article on the market's dynamics.

Why this is a good deal for us...Gray's brewery is being bought by Corr, Lynch & Gray (Gray as a partner for brewery)& not Rushnet. Garden Beverage is being bought by Rushnet, Rushnet will have Garden on Rushnet's books. $5.4 million in sales for Rushnet to start. THe interview, Bob stated that sales was under a million & thats just Rushnet now add in Garden's sales & now we would be slightly over $6 million in sales....& this is just the start!!!!

Yes this is definitely a start. 50 million/day volume isn't going to make anything happen though. This thing needs some dollars to move before anything significant.

As everyone knows .....the previous threads for this stock had gotten locked up and new threads had to be started to continue the communication between investors. Well I was out looking around the other forums and I found that on SiliconInvestors dot com that you can access their thread all th way back to June of 2005.
I began reading that thread from Dec 1st last year and it brought back all the thoughts I had before buying this stock myself back in February. I had almost forgotten about some of the reasons I liked this stock so much in the beginning. Asian and Japanese marketing of Gensing Rush and E-Water, Introduction of 7 new sparkeling fruit sodas ( cranberry, apple, papya, ect...), Corrs intelect in choosing and aquiring a booth at the show in Anehiem CA this last spring right up front and near an entrance. His vision for growth and expansion of his company has kept me as an investor without fear, because he has shown real leadership abilities by entering into a partnership with Lynch's Investment Group and knowing he needed the ability to produce larger quantities of his products if this company were ever to grow to its potential.
Well many have compared this company as if it were a puzzle and they are absolutely correct and these are the pieces in place for the beginning of a run like no other this company has yet to see.........
1) Marketing agreements with companies in Asia / Japan 2) Positive responce to Trade Shows and new products to be delivered in the comming months. 3) Partnering with Lynch Investment Group (You need money to make money) 4) Getting hooked up with Christies PR Firm (Comcast Comm is now online thanks to them) 5) New distributors in the United States (East and West coasts) and Mexico 6) Begins introduction of new beverages with Organic Apple Rush with Ginseng 7) Relocated to new offices and adding additional staff with room for future growth 8) Committments to attend Trade shows in Asia and Japan 9) Beginning negotiations with Grays Brewery of Wisconson for the purchase of the brewery for the purpose of manufacturing existing beverages while developing new sodas, flavored waters, and alcoholic beverages. 10) Hooking up with Kehe Food Distributors who will bring our products into stores like Kroger, Albertsons, and H.E.B. 11) Signing a letter of intent to aquire Chicagos very own Garden Beverage Co., who expects 2006 sales to exceed $5.4 million with an ever expanding customer base.
All that is left is for the company to finalize the brewery deal and then begin reporting and move up off the pinks.
Ive said it before and I will once again...... If you want to see what can happen with a company like our just look at a company called Jones Soda. We have every bit as much potential as that company and I honestly feel that if Corr and Lynch have their way, we are all going to be very happy that we held long and strong to the end!
I'm just a newbie in the world of stock analysis, but I made a choice to buy this stock on Feb 14th, 2006 at .0004 and you know what happened shortly there after. Well I have the same feeling about this stock once again with alot more positive news than before, so I am buying more when ever I can. Maybe I just got lucky but I dont think so.....I truely believe these men running this company know what they are doing and they have my full support as an investor.
GLTA who are already investors and welcome to all of those who are planning to get in sometime soon!!
GO RSHN!!!!!

Hi guys, back from the coast and catching up on RSHN. I like the news, even if the MM's didn't. As has been said, another piece put into place. Slow building of distribution. Hiding and watching.
