It's an overflow. The volume field of your brokerage stores the number in a 32-bit memory address field. 2 to the 32nd power = 4,294,967, 296. So if the volume of a stock hits that number it rolls over to zero and starts climbing again.

I think I do. And normally I would agree with you, but with this volume that seems hard to believe.

I remember when CMKX traded this kind of volume, I had scottrade then and after the high 4 billion mark it would start over ( the volume ) some said trading houses had a built in volume limit in there programs and could not track volume over 4.75 billion without resetting. could be maybe?

With all this dumping going on Frankie boy has to increase the O/S and A/S some more. At this rate the entire 100B O/S will be in the float. This sure feels and smells like CMKX.

I mean, except for us FOOLs here, who else would be buying these shares. I know if I was a rationale investor, I should wouldn't be putting my money in here. But still, none of my .0001 orders have been filled!

At this point it's kindof like playing the lottery and at 1mil shares for $100, I think it's worth the risk.

Thanks, guy. Notice how we hang on your every word ... even YA BABY? [Big Grin]

Some trades going through at 2 again. That should pizz off the "doom and gloom merchants". Wow, this has been an interesting day. Can't wait to find out what caused it ... if we ever do. [Confused]
