WHo is the real time provider?

I just got off of the phone with conectisys in regaurds to this. They did confirm, that they are the only real time manufacture of meters right now. I asked if this was them doing business in Madison and he could not comment on this. He did say they are in the marketing stages and are talking to many cities and will be engaging in business deals over the next 6 months. The company did not that they were operating on almost no debt and are in really good shape and are going in higher places. He did let me know that in next months report on their site
( http://www.conectisys.com/index.html )
we will se a report that shows the systems that are out there and explain the similarities and differences between them. Well this one is on my long term portfolio and I will continue to load up on this over the next months to come.
good luck to all!!

Thanks,
Brian

here is a copy and paste of the first paragraph.
" Another U.S. municipality, Madison, Wisconsin, is getting a citywide Wi-Fi rollout, this time led by a firm supplying real-time automated meter reading for the utilities industry. "
The only real time meter company is CNES. This ios good for us but is causing such an uproar because it means lost meter reader jobs. i just talked with my father in law who works for Ameren IP power company and he said that they are priming up for this type of system as is most power companies out there. This is thousands of big money meter reading jobs nation wide and the unions and power company workers are upset over this.
Oh well Im sure they knew this kind of technology was coming.

The article states CELLNET won the contract. Another win for Cellnet and another loss for CNES. Not bashing, just posting the truth so others don't get sucked in. I am getting concerned, but waiting and hoping for at least a small pilot or small contract announcement. Good luck to all.

Cellnet = Schlumberger. They were bought out by Schlumberger years ago. Cellnet has been around a while and winning contracts since one of the first contract awards with Puget. In my opinion, as of January 2005 when I attended the conference, Cellnet's is not a good as CNES. However, they are established and backed by the big 'S'. IF, AND IF, CNES can break the gap and get something at one place, this will break wide, wide, wide open imo. That is why I am here..., but it is a long shot imo...not busting on CNES, but Cellnet is killing them.

SLUG back CNES!!

If this Co has a great product that is ready for market, and just need one more FCC stamp, then the best thing they could do for investors is a stock buy back because of all the O/S.
Do you think that should be their first thing on their agenda after they ever do sign a contract?
What kind of buy back would make a dent in the PPS?

Z-man.....Cellnet DOES NOT have the contract for AMR, they are only being used to begin Wi-Fi, nothing to do with AMR whatsoever.

Your absolutely correct...For Example the Madison Wisconsin RFP for real time reads for AMR's won't come out till the beginning of 2006...

CNES is coming out with a bang! After talks with them the other day I am 100% glad to have my money invested in them. They have many contracts ready to sign, but WILL NOT make a press release untill they are 100% confirmed. The company is almost debt free and was opearting on grants from the fcc, because they knew that CNES had the ability to make this work and they did! Look for a press release next month comparing them to their competitors, and another after they get the contract ink dry!
Investors rest assure you will make the bucks you have been waiting for in the long run.

AHD...
I would say...Call or E-mail Greg Johnson on the last page with questions you may have...Are you asking if they are in the bid process? With any Public Utility the companies submitting to RFP's are open to the public unless, as in California's case, they were put under seal by the Utility Commision...until the hearings...I hope this helps...

I am pretty confident in the company after talking with them. Call them,he barely gave me room to talk, telling me all about the company, how things work, their plans for the future and telling me how the others work compared to theirs and so on. If anyone has anyquestions feel free to call them. They are the nicest people.
You know another sleeping giant is TNTG. Triton Technologies WILL explode at the end of the third quarter when they release their corn enthanol and hydro power unit! Huge stuff, oh well thats whole other subject.
