The test has begun!!! Just before 11:00 MDT satellite T5/5 began displaying a test pattern and there was a crawl that said:
"You are viewing a sampling of the wonderful programming of the new Q Television network, the nation's premiere gay and lesbian television network. Call your cable or satellite provider and request Q television in your home."
I am currently recording and will try to get some screen shots to post.

At first it was a bit snowy for reception and the audio was very difficult to here but within a minute or two everything cleared up and the sound is perfect although you can hear the audio getting louder and quieter as if they are adjusting the sound levels.

On the bottom of the screen they are scrolling a message stating what you are watching and to call your cable company to subscribe...

I had to step away but right now I have a black screen and intermittant flashes of programming. But the programming has sound. So, yeah, they are tweaking the signal. But then again, that's the whole purpose of this exercise.

Okay, I'm not gay....at least I try to validate that with being married to my wife, LOL.....anyway, pretty interesting programming.....very educational. If all goes well. Which things sound good right now. We, I am sure will get a good PR monday. We will exploded to the upside. I feel a lot bigger move than friday. This baby is for real. We are to be very well off. There is going to be only one question now for us all. How high can we let it go? Before, our finger hits the sell button. Go QBID 007 All the way to the bank. My wife just called and the first question was how did QBID do friday. To heck with me and the dog.

Right now there is one thing that worries me. The crawl should mention that this is a signal test. What I'm concerned about is prospective subscribers might think the is going to be the signal quality. Based upon that I'd not subscribe.

This is great.....talk about starting off programming with something educational and controversial....same sex marriages in San Francisco at city hall that happened earlier this year in February. They keep interviewing couples who got married on the very first day.....lots of footage showing crowds and signs lined up to get married.
Hot topic, election year....controversy.....QBID is going places!
