Ok im new to this whole penny stock game. Ok lets just say im new at it all. Im opening an account at choicetrades.com and putting in $1000. Let say for example i buy a stock like HCCF when it was at .0002. that would mean i have 5,000,000 shares. If the price goes up to .0008, and i sell it, i would end up with a $3,000 profit. What are the chances of it actually selling at that price. When i put it for sell, will it sell automatically? How does this work, and any tips for me when i start? yes people i need TIPS from the masters, YOU! Thanks!!

That's it for now. as for your question about a stock going from .0001 to .0008... it happens but it is not likely. Stocks trading that low are there for a reason and even though they never say it is... IT IS always their fault. Good luck... anymore questions please do ask... a few really talented traders on this site and they are all willing to help.

RDQ gave you good stuff...
also, in your example? That .0008 pps would likely be an MM buy; you'd have to look at the bid/ask to see your more likely sell price, prolly at .0006...there was one that ran in that range a coupla three months ago, but as I recall those who had held since .0003 had held a long time, and it's run was only good for a day or so... Also, at that level? Very tricky trading--say people have been holding since .0003: despite all the posts declaring they're holding for .0010-12, many will sell at .0006 for the double...
Plus, as RDQ says, they're pretty rare anyway...
another thing to do on this board is search on "machiavelli" & "books"

You're gettin' some good advice here.
yea, .0001 to .0008.........SWEEEEEEEET
If you look at the bid/Ask.......there are Market makers on both sides...
The price on the bid is where the Market maker is willing to buy your shares and the Ask side is where the Market maker is selling them
Ex. .0006 (bid) .0007(Ask)
The Market is willing to buy your shares at .0006 and is selling them for .0007.
Now I have learned that if the stock is moving....most of the time you can end up selling on the ask.
The same with the bid....if the stock is slow...good chance you'll fill on the bid.
As to your question as to how long it will take to execute all depends on the stock and the movement. If it's moving nice it should sell quite quickly.....within a minute or two.
good luck and keep asking questions!
